Lord I give the praise to you that Jill carrol has been freed from her abductors in Iraq. We may not understand completely why some are spared and sadly others are not but I give you the praise that your will is done.

Like so many of your children I pray not only for the missionaries that have boldly gone forth into that storm armed with the Sword of your Word, but also for the thousand of men and women who seek peace with far less powerful weapons. May they be armed and protected of the Spirit each and everyone.
