We haven't spoken in about 3 years. I'm not 100% sure why she is so mad at me, the Lord knows. Pray for both of us. love and prayers to all of you ...

Praying for you both in the name of JESUS CHRIST! That what ever barriers which have been created regardless of the reason be brought down and that you are reunited in Jesus with your daughter. Amen.

With the love of Christ Jesus.

I am also praying for your situation with your daughter.

My own wife had a similar situation where neither she nor I understood why our daughter was angry with her in particular. We still don't know the details, but God does and a healing is now in process. We don't have to know for God always does.

Flowerchild,

I stand in agreement in prayer with the other members for a quick recovery for your relationship with your daughter. I feel this is a fairly common situation, really. I went through it with my own parents many years ago, took me a few years to come around...I still loved them (from afar), even though I felt offended by them for many things than happened throughout my childhood. In time, God worked it all out. It seems like an eternity for a parent, I know...

Greetings @Flowerchild

Trusting our Lord the bringer of love peace and joy to heal the wounds in this relationship.

Praying

Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
Isaiah 26:4

Flower, there was a pretty big chasm and rift between Father and mankind once also...LOL. If anyone knows what it's like to have a child run off and not even check in now and then; it is truly Him. I am certain that given Father's willingness and ability to bridge a far bigger separation, then this is no request too big for him to grant.

Father, we ask that you direct your child back home, in due time. Father, you well know how precious it is for your children to run back to you with reckless abandon and adoration; we know how it touches your heart to have your children near to you. Thus Father, we ask that you grant this parent but the one small favor of receiving that which you also long for; the child's presence. May it be your will Father, that this separation be shattered, the mountain moved, and an intimacy of relationship restored. In Jesus name we pray. AMEN!

Greetings again @Flowerchild

I was thinking about your situation....

Why not prayerfully seek ways to break the ice

Send your daughter some flowers
or
Send her a card saying you are thinking of her and love her.

Dear Lord may hearts melt with love in this situation and may peace abound between mother and daughter,

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not

Galatians 6:9

We are told in God word that families will fall apart and turn against one another. This is what the enemy wants, to break the root of family life. A family that prays together, stays together. I have heard this so many times, our family like many others if pulled and strained. Continue to trust that God is in control. I pray that the Lord gives those concerned the willingness to make the first step to reconciliation. That is all it takes, one person to humble themselves before God and step forward. I have had to do it. May God grant favour upon your family. In His precious name. God bless you

In 2009 I had grown sick of my mom n brother intentionally "self-isolating," from Grandma n Grandpa; simply never taking the time to be proactive and touch base-staying isolated and "separate," from the rest of the family. After concerted effort, me and uncle Chris got them to come to Thanksgiving and Christmas; which it turned out was greatly rewarding to mom and Luke,(brother,) as well as the grandparents. They hadn't been present at a family holiday in 10+ years. The following year on Dec. 18th, Grandma went to be with Jesus; and at 8 AM on Christmas morning, (the same year,) Grandpa went "home," too. Imagine the deliverance they unknowingly received from the torment it would have been had they never reunited and stayed distanced from G'ma & G'pa; had they passed without mom n Luke seeing them again it would have been crushing I'm sure. Then in 2015 I moved back to my hometown, saw mom for the first time in 2 years; and within months she passed away too. I was obviously hurt by the loss, but I found it a blessing that I got to see her again before she also went to be with Jesus. These simple things became miracles simply because the effort was made; and greatly helped provide a measure of solace in the face of tragedy.

Life is a precious and fragile thing folks; family, relationship, and friendship are blessings well beyond measurable value. Let us not put things off until we find ourselves at the moment of "too late," and burdened with a lifetime of regret; dwelling on the "I should have's," and "Why didn't I's?" There are three types of people in this world: Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who sit there after the fact wondering what the heck just happened. There are seasons when we must take to "the offensive," take initiative, be proactive, and make things happen. Otherwise we will find ourselves after the fact, on the outside looking in, wondering what the heck just happened and regretting our inaction.
Thanks and God Bless!
