My Bible states he is in me now - "the hope of Glory" (Col 1:27).

For born again believers -- it's the Holy Spirit who is indwelling 'us' upon the moment of our salvation.

Jesus Christ Was here on earth for those 33 yrs. And then He ascended back up to heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father.

At some point in the future -- Jesus Christ Will gather up all born again believers both dead and then alive and they will be with Jesus Christ from then on.

And then at some future point -- Jesus Christ Will return to this earth in body and rule for 1,000 yrs. Satan will be bound for that amount of time. True peace on earth.

That's not what that verse is talking about -- different set of circumstances. Context

The Lord does not indwell anyone -- the Holy Spirit does.
