Seeker: Is Jesus Christ really God?

Excerpt from C.S. Lewsi, "Mere Christianity"

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God." That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him lord and God. But let us not come with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. (End)

If you break down what C.S. Lewis is trying to show, you come up with the following. Maybe with some variations, but the choices are really limited when it comes to Jesus being God.

One: Jesus was lying
A. He knew he was lying.

  • He did it on purpose
  • He was a fraud
  • He was a devil
  • He was a fool.
    • He died for it.
B. He didn't know he was lying.

  • He was tricked into thinking he was.
  • He was crazy.
    • Sadly he died for it.
Two: He was telling the truth and He is the Lord
A. You can accept Him.
B. You can reject Him.

Look at any Red Letter Bible to view His words. See for yourself the who, what, and when of those things that have noted in the chronicles of recorded history. As you can see there are limited views in which one can come to acceptance/denial of the deity of Jesus Christ. If as of yet you are still not sure, consider His communicated words, acts, in total His life and death.

Now has always been a time of decision, on making a choice. Choose wisely for eternity has and is a witness to what you would believe.

I pray that the choice is Jesus. For it is only through Him that you will find, what you've been seeking and be complete as you've never been before.

You would think that nobody cares. We do.
Come to Jesus beloved!
He is calling!

He is waiting!
For You!

Touch those hardened hearts that they may believe! Lord, have mercy I pray. Amen

Good day-there seems to be many scriptures that refers to Jesus as God.
Titus 2:13 speaks of the " glorious appearing of our great GOD and Savior Jesus Christ."
2 Peter 1:1 refers to " the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ "
Romans 9:5 - " Christ....who is overall, the eternally blessed God "

There are numerous texts which refers to Jesus as Deity.

If anyone has any doubts that Jesus could not be God, then they have to explain away texts that do clearly indicate that He is God.
In John 8;58- Jesus says".......before Abraham, was, I AM "

Think about it this way: If you are an atheist and you are right, nothing will happen to you when you die. If you are an atheist and you find out you are wrong, you will go to hell when you die. Either Jesus or Nobody. Either Love or no Love. There are testimonies that people had been to heaven and back. In my heart, Jesus is real and he loves me very much as i was his own. The earth wasn't created by chance, not a loving earth like this. Please, If you reject Jesus, what else do you have? You may still have a life, but that will last only 70-100 years, then after that you will regret your decision for eternity. Please, Jesus is waiting for you. Come to him now and you will be loved by Jesus for eternity. You are his child. Please.

Just putting that out there.
