Self pray

Well, my mom needs medicine again. And, we do not have the money for it. So, I have to sell the rest of my video games to be able and pay for it. Please pray that I will be strong as I do this, and not become depressed. Even though, my mom will get mad after I tell her.

Hi sealightbreeze,

It is so easy to get attached to things. I would be lying if I said that I have never been in that position myself. However, I wanted to share something that I think might encourage your heart. When we read and study the Word we find that Jesus never loved things, but He always loved people. One thing I ask myself many times is "Will this matter 100 years from now?" I always come back to people will always matter 100 years from now, things will not.

I would like to pray for you and your family. Father God, thank you for the willingness of sealightbreeze to give up something that matters to her for her mom. Jesus, You tell us in Your Word that freely we have been given - freely give. I just pray for this family and pray that you would put a hedge of protection about them. I pray Father that You would show yourself stong on their behalf. Father, this mom needs her medicine and I ask that you would make the way for her to have it. Bless sealightbreeze abundantly for being willing to be a vessel to be used in this situation, and I ask You to minister to her heart as only You can. Father, I ask you to meet this family where they are in every area of their lives and I thank You for it. In Jesus name, Amen.

Father I lift up our dear sister to you today and pray that she will store up treasure in heaven by her self less acts to help her mom get her medication. I pray that You Lord will provide this family's needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Thank you that You are our Jehovah Jireh our great provider. I pray that You would touch her mom with Your healing hands and restore her body to full health and strength from the top of her head to the soles of her feet in Jesus' name and for His glory amen.

I really didn't mean for what I said to sound so cut and dried. Please forgive me. I know you love your Mom very, very much. It is so hard! I am praying for God to meet the needs of your family abundantly, and for Him to bring His healing as only He can. He cares for all of you so much! I have been and will continue to keep you all in prayer.
