Always in awe. Wanting to share praises. Yesterday or this morning, not sure, but a wave of need went over me, just pain, like a wave, of need. It didn't hurt, just a sense of the need that was present.
Most people know when they are in need, but often I see the Lord bring me an awareness of it, and the answer to it.
This was just a wave of pain and need, very quickly and brought to rememberance that the last week had been difficult. And I knew as I felt it, that with it also would come the answer to it from the Lord, so I presented the wave of need to the Lord, and ask for the need, and put the Lord in rememberance, though I knew it was Him giving it to ask. And I remember thinking, and oh, we need bread, too. That may sound funny, but we needed bread, too.
Today my husband came in with a back seat full of foods and he said in passing without realizing what it meant to me, ...oh, there is a loaf of bread, too. We are not starving people. We went through a difficult week financially and I wasn't even aware of the pain of it, but in the wave, it came back to me, but it was more like a prayer. And I knew it would all be okay.
And today, the Lord filled our grocery order, and not only our need, but to the overflow of others in the food and I am thankful and thank the Lord! What came in will go out to others, too. There is plenty.
And I know that the need that came will be completely cared for, even if I don't fully understand it. I know the Lord is kind and has always been, and is more faithful than I can imagine and more caring than I can imagine, also.
As I thought on this, I was in awe seeing it, again, as I am in awe so often in seeing the Lord's kindnesses. I thought of many other times when there was a need I didn't really realize, but the Lord would bring an awareness of the need, and then He would bring the need also. One time I remember needing craft supplies and that came to me, and I thought, oh, Lord, I am out and need dry floral. Within a very short time, the garage was full of dried floral. Another time, gowns, and then that came. Any need, the Lord is so faithful.
These were times He put me in rememberance to ask. And the answer came. But in so many times in our lives, daily, He is so kind. Brings the needs and I am thankful. He is that way, and the same for one person as for the other. I am thankful.
