Should you beg God in prayer?
Some may read the Bible in discern that God wants to give the saints all that we need to carry out
God's work. As a result God gladly wants to give us all that we need to accomplish the work, we just
need to ask.
Others may read that we need to perserve in prayer and ask over and over and over,
as if begging and pleading with God to do something that God does not want to do
OR will only do if we beg and plead with Him.
How do you approach prayer?
Do you beg God, like a teenager asking their parents to borrow the car when the parents really doesn't want them to have it,
or do you ask God when you pray as a child asking a parent for food, something that parent wants to give to the child because they know
they are hungry and need it?
Or are there times when we need to beg God because God is mad at us and we are showing our humbleness in begging?
Or does our repentance, if we do sin, cover and fix our relationship with God allowing us to come boldly to the throne of Grace?
How do you approach the throne of Grace? @complete , @Dave M , @MedicBravo , @GodB4Us , @B-A-C , @PloughBoy , @Andyindauk, @Br. Bear , and everyone else.
Boldly or Begging?
And does this change based on your relationship with God?
