a girl who studied 4 yrs programme in Bible in England question 'Jesus is the God'
She said it is wrong. She meant;' Jesus is the Saviour, not the God; the Father is the God'
i realised there are some difference between us, because in my fellowship everybody says 'Jesus is the God'( you know, trinity)
all the evangelical members in that forum started defending Jesus, and she shows no more.
what's wrong with her? Is she a catholic? or just a group of christian? Can we define her a christian?

Dear JesusistheGod,

You are correct regarding God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, reference Jesus' Command as one example of the Trinity in Matthew 28:19.

The sister who studied 4 years does make a "split" point that God the Father is over Jesus Christ the Son, however, Jesus Christ our Savior is still God, thus the Trinity as One. I agree with the scriptures.

But her statement that Jesus is the Saviour, is seperate and not the God; as concrete as that then I don't agree.

I believe we can still accept and love her as a Christian because we are all still learning, just like her efforts, and that is what God loves about us because learning about God and His Word means that we are seeking God and His Word.

Your servant in Christ Jesus.

Perfectly said Bob. Yes, Jesus Christ is GOD in human form (God the Son) who died on the Cross and rose on the third day (being our Savior).

If that was the person who had lengthy posts about the trinity on this forum, I believe that she was influenced by the association with Jehovah's Witness (in one of her posts she spoke of being JW at one time). The idea that Jesus is saviour but not God is a key teaching of JW.

I agree with Chad's simple observation Jesus is both God in human form and saviour.

Don't know why she left... but I have had this discussions on this subject with many JW's who have come to my door... and they pack up and leave rather that get into dicussion. Hopefully, that was not the case with her... but you are right.... she hasn't come back.
