Sometimes God suprises You

Yesterday and last night i was on the chat room being very difficult, being just very anti everything and esspecialy agianst miracles.Near the end of the chat just before I got kicked off the topic turned to the Phillipines with some members in chat saying God did great miracles there and i was say prove it.Wellll what I did'nt say was that back in 1984 when i was there i met a girl and we had a son,we baptiszed him catholic in my name,due to may reasons,political unrest in the area,my youth, my acholism and mental illness we lost touch.I have since gotten much better entered into recovery for 16 years now got control of my illness and i now have a wife and 3 year old son. Tonight while checking the mail i found i had recieved a letter out of the blue from my son in the phillipines saying he has been looking for me for many years now.Boy talk about God proving He can do Miralces. this letter was mailed on the 18th of march from my Long lost son in the phillipines and arrived the day after I was specifically was challenging The claim the God Did miracles in the phillipines.Now That to obvious a miralce to ignore even for a hardhead like me.Priase God

futher info on the story

In The letter I got from son was a phone number to call him in the philippines so I called the number my son is'nt home yet he's at work{He's a welder)But I did Talk To my Daughter in law who told me I have a granddaughter who will be 3 on april 29th,my son turns 3 on april 26.at 8 oclock this morining i'll be calling my son.
I do need lots of prayer because of my mental illness i struggle with parinoia (i'm syzo-affective)so of couse i have to be susspious of the whole thing please pray that i won't become suspisions of everything get angry and sabotage the whole thing like i'm done often in my life and robbed myself of alot of happiness.
also my wife is very excieted about the whole thing and we even talked about going there,i don't know how but God does he did put this in my life to drop the ball now he has a way ,I hope.
and agian somebody get to chad and the people in the chat room i may have offeneded{macca, joy something are a few)and please let them know what happened because striff was turned to blessing and I think they need to know.

Wow! Amazing how God works, huh? Unfortunately, many Christians outright deny miracles and say "With the ending of scripture, they aren't around anymore." That's just like saying God doesn't send angels to Christians to guide them back to the Lord when they get off the path or saying that great healings happen by coincidence. When I was a baby I had an apgar (whatever it is) of 3; was basically pronounced dead..but within a day or two I was perfectly healthy. Praise God Just remember..we don't need to prove a miracle..for how can we prove the supernatural with the natural things? That's where faith kicks in. We have faith that God's miracles have happened; both great and small. Sometimes they happen without us taking notice.

Hi Keith64, that's great news - praise God! I shall pray for you. Incidentally I have been overcoming mental illness (psychosis) with the Lord's healing and help and recently found a course which helped me greatly - its called Steps to Freedom by Neil Anderson. Might be something to check out - he has a website.

He has a way of getting our attention doesn't he!

Our Lord did many miracles in my life trying to get my attention. Finally he did a medical miracles that had the doctor operating on me saying that this sort of thing never happens. Never been in the medical books before.

PTL Or else I would be very handicapped today and wouldn't be doing the job today for Him working as a caretaker for a large Christian camp. I like to use the word caregiver myself. My work is very physical here.

Anyways, He has your attention! Now I am very excited for you in finding your son.
I never met my dad until I was 21. There was always a part of me missing by not seeing him. We finally met and it could of gone better but I will never regret finally meeting my biological father. May you be blessed in your reunion.
