I feel alone in the universe for a few moments and It scares me, like a notion that we all struggle to get by in this life and that is it.

It doesn't last long and I know God is there, it is like a 'what if' moment of doubt

I have known that feeling. I have known it in the midst of church. I felt alone with my doubts around other believers who seemed so secure in their faith in Jesus. And I experienced it in lone moments when it seemed there is no real purpose to life.

Believe Jesus is real. Keep believing it. He is there to take away that feeling of being lost and alone. Know that with Him you will find the closeness to God that fills the emptiness. Talk to Him. Ask God to fill you with His Spirit. The sensation of being cut off from God is only a feeling. At times faith means deciding to do that which is contrary to what seems real. Just as you know God is there, know Jesus Christ is there for you to have a personal conversation. Even if it seems foolish at times, keep talking to Him - every day! Jesus will remove every void in your life as you trust Him by faith.

I agree To Christ...we all have those moments...even David in Psa 102:7 says
"I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. " But if you turn to the next chapter, you find him lifting up his head and blessing God...why?
Because as he says "forget not...He redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;"
What I think hes actually saying is I felt alone...until I remembered Gods love!
