Spirit Husband???

I called into a popular christian talk show the other day and the guest they had told me I had a "spirit husband". It is an evil entity that tries to prevent marriage or if married, cause divorce among other things. I am 50 and never married and wonder at this point if I will ever be. I am attractive-have a few pounds to lose but am working on that. Does anyone believe these "spirit husbands" (or for men they can have "spirit wives") exist? Supposedly they can come in through occult involvement, trauma, fornication,etc. I have said prayers against them hoping this helps. Another preacher said he saw something on my late mother's side of the family that was a curse against the women keeping them from getting married.

I would say keep away from such Christian talk shows. They have fed you a whole lot of rubbish.

Instead look to the word of the Lord, to Him who loves you dearly
He knows whether or not you will marry and He know the reasons why. His plans for you are perfect

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

If I may , souns like bad presentation of a right idea to me . God is you're man ! My sister went through the bad marriage / divorce thing and raised two wonderful kids from it . She put her faith in a spiritual husband not a physical one . That being said let me add that you're father in heaven says its not good that we should be alone ! There is someone for yo I'm sure .forgaet the pressure of wanting Realationship here on earth and place you're eye on the things of God ( what he has been calling to you're heart about ) and I have know doubt to fulfill Gods will in you're life He has been preparing a help mate ......Faith child God has this one !!...

Hi steflou64,

Sounds to me like someone was filling your head with lies. When you know Jesus the evil one has
no place in your life and knows this, so he will use what means he can to try to bring you down
and one of those ways is to use his lies against you, but the good news Is this when we call on the
name of Jesus satan must flee and he knows it.

Don't fall into the lies our enemy will try to use. Instead focus on the truths that Jesus says about
you. You are beautiful to Him and more precious than diamonds or rubies. He created you and
loves you. He has plans for you, plans to prosper never to harm. Plans of peace not of evil. I'm
still single too and don't believe in the whole spirit husband thing and neither should you. If you
and I are meant to be married in this life nothing can stop God from bringing that right man to us.
not satan, not an evil entity because our Lord is way more power than any demon or satan himself.

Any preacher who would tell such a thing surely isn't a real preacher in my opinion. A real preacher
who teaches from the word of God knows that nothing is more powerful than our Lord. Stay close
to God my sister and friend in Jesus and seek His will for your life and put your trust in Him.
If it's meant to be you will find the right one, but for right now Let Jesus be your first and only Love
let Him saturate you with His love and fill you with His presence.

Isaiah 54:14 In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from the oppression for you
shall not fear; and from terror for it shall not come near you. (insert the word me where the you is)

1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who has born of God keeps
himself and the wicked one does not touch him.
