Of course ,I do not agree ,our problems are in our hearts{spirit] once BORN OF GOD!But are in our minds,Not taking on the mind of our LORD.JESUS CHRIST.He changes our hearts at our NEW BIRTH,Then we need to walk in our spirits.
Because,the flesh cannot help but sin.That is why ?It must die.It cannot be saved.Nothing sin touches can be saved.Sin is deadly ,once it fills a being or place.it must be destoried.As we clearly see?all flesh dies and even the very earth we dwell in.Must be destoried!The earth is showing signs of its dying!
And we are too!
But the inner man,is renewed day by day.The mind is growing,to become more like OUR LORD.if we allow the HOLY GHOST to teach us and guide us!
All our battles start in our minds.
fear guides many of our actions and can cause many problems in our lifes.But faith can over come all things.
Because FAith and LOVe are the most important things to us!The greatest gift ,besides salvation,is the HOLY SPIRIT.
I would be lost without HIM!he has blessed me so many times.I talk with HIm daily.Sometimes ,He speaks in my mind.Other times ,HE speaks in action.leading me to where I need to go!
We fight on a number of fronts.
1-evil spirits.They cause others to hate us and try to hurt us!
2- our own flesh ,it cannot help but sin.
3-our mind ,until they take on the mind of CHRIST JESUS.it has many false truths.which we judge things by.Which will not lead us to the real TRUTH.but decieves us into thinking wrong..Also it can cause us to sin.many times,not knowing we have sinned?
The only sure thing we have is ?our new spirits.The have all the fruit of the spirit with in.And the WORDS of the bible.THEY ARE LIFE TO US and food for our new spirits.Which start as a baby spirit and grow as we feed them ?GODS LIVING WORD!
I know?many things i say ,sound odd.But I can show all ascripture to all ,I say!
And then?The SPIRIT OF TRUTH can reveal these things to your mind!If HE has not already!
I do have some spiritual insite.As the LORD has blessed me in this way!
But we do not need to be taught of any.GOD WANTS TOP TEACH EACH OF HIS CHILDERN!AND HE IS ABLE,if we only allow HIM!HE DOES THIS ,WITH HIS OWN SPIRIT.THE HOLY GHOST .given to each of HIS KIDS.
Of course.we will not have ,HIS SPIRIT unless we have had a true BIRTH.[spiritual birth]
The spirit is the real us!Of course?with our normal eyes?we can not see our spirits.But must accept by faith.GODS WORD IS TRUE! If it does not agree with our eyes?Our eyes lie!
Luk 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.
Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
