I'm not sure how this site works, I'd like someone knowledgeable who knows a lot about the bible/God to private message me if possible. I found this site by chance. I'm not a religious person, but something is going on inside my head/heart, please help.

Jesus wasn't religious either so you've come to the right place. This 'disturbance' you're feeling is just the sort of thing you take to the only One who knows precisely what you're feeling. So tempting to people to become mother/father confessor but seriously, it's this kind of stuff that belongs to your Saviour. Pray to Him first, then you'll hear His answer through others or even just by knowing in your spirit. Bless you.
