I wanna know more about spiritual warfare...I mean the different degress of power the demons have and what we need to do...and how to know if we're called to this kinda warfare... I think they should post a whole article on it in Bible Answers.

Fear not for I am with you! (Isaiah 41:10)

Hi there Naomi,

Spiritual warfare is the unseen battle(s) that are going on between the forces of evil and the saints (born again Christians). The Bible tells us that "the battle is the Lord's". We are not to engage in spiritual warfare on our own power. Even Jesus spoke Scriptures to the devil when He was tempted by him. Our job is to stay in fellowship with God by living a holy life, praying, entering His gates with thanksgiving and the most powerful of all, Praising Him and worshiping Him. As soon as we distance ourselves from God, we are vulnerable to spiritual warfare.
Even Jesus' disciples tried to cleanse someone of evil spirits and they couldn't. Jesus told them "this kind takes prayer and fasting". It's very dangerous for a person (not guided by the Holy Spirit) to go around and blindly command evil spirits. Satan is smarter that we are, and he's an expert at disguising himself to deceive people. We can only fight him and his helpers (demons) with the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
If you feel that you are called to do this type of 'work' - seek the Lord in prayer and ask Him for guidance and to show you and teach you everything about it. Remember - the battle is the Lord's.
Jesus said "Without Me, you can do nothing"

Naomi, Spiritual warfare is something I believe will be an everday battle here on earth.
2 CORINTHIANS 10
4 (For the weapons of our WARFARE are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Our sword is the word of God and Jesus. Yes Satan has strong holds against our Flesh same as he tempted Jesus. Jesus always used the word of God to rebuke Satan. Jesus always refused satan with the word of God.
LUKE 4, 2 Being forty days TEMPTED of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
MATTHEW 4
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee HENCE, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Many times I have used this scripture against Satan in the name of Jesus to stop from being tempted with dirty or evils thoughts. Instantly the temptations stops. Be sure to do this in the name of Jesus. I would never try to do anything like this with other people. It would be up to the church to deal with other people. The more scriptures you know in your heart the quicker you can respond against satan. Remember our own word has no power at all against satan. It has to be SCRIPTURE, in Jesus's name. Hope this helped.

If someone truly comes to know as much as may be known about Jesus Christ and falls in love with Him,then that someone will completely trust the One who has overcome all evil."Get thee behind me satin, for it is written"Tempt not the Lord thy God""Faith is selfevident and therefore evil is nonexistant. To love is to scarfice for the one which you love.Jesus gave all for me,you and all who believe in Him. Why should we worry? Why should we waste time thinking about evil things when we could be using that time thinking about how truly wonderful our Lord Jesus is?We will be here but a short time and will be with the One who loves us as we are forever. And ever, and ever...........
