The correlation between my pain and my suicidal thoughts is quite exact. When the pain is intense then those are the times when I am likely to have suicidal thoughts - however fleeting they are.
NB - This does not mean the same as being suicidal!
This afternoon was one of those painful times with the accompanying suicidal thought, but this time I remembered the advice that I had been given on the 'Seriously ill' thread:
"For example when you start feeling like suicide say this;"You thoughts of suicide, I command you to leave me immediately in the name of Jesus! and I cover myself with the blood of Jesus".
Well, I did what I had been advised to do and the suicidal thought went.
- Thank you Jesus! Thank you God!
Thank you also Lucky Lady/Talk Jesus for that piece of advice.
