If a person commits suicide, does that mean they will go to hell?

SignUp Now!That's a tough one. I think that in the end it is impossible for us to know. I mean Jesus came to bring us back into a relationship and it is having a relationship or not having a relationship that determines where we would go after we die. But it is often hard to determine the conditions of a person's heart and their relationship with God, especially when they commit suicide. So I don't have an answer for you.If a person commits suicide, does that mean they will go to hell?
I am sorry. I can't think of anything to say that could help since there is no taking back what has happened. But can I ask how you are doing?Somebody I knew very well killed himself, he was very religious but heard voices that he said were demons talking to him from hell. He found it unbearable.
He was such a lovely lovely person, it is hard to think of him still suffering.
I can't speak for what was going on with him but my honest belief is that if he had a relationship with Jesus then I do not see why he would go to hell regardless of the circumstances of death. But again that is just my belief based on what I know about God. The bible just doesn't say much on this matter so again this is just what I believe.Feel very heavy. He prayed all the time. I think he couldn't take the screaming of the demons, and praying didn't help. It's so sad.
He took medication, that didn't help either.
He always spoke about God/Jesus positively. As far as I know, he always accepted Jesus as his saviour and that gave him some comfort.
Does the act of suicide send you to hell regardless of belief.... that would be so so wrong... Does anybody know?
Thank you. Sorry for your friend. I will pray for you and for him. There's nothing in the Bible to say that God rejects anyone who takes their own life.
