Talk To Things

MARK 11:23 NKJ
23 "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,
`Be removed ....

Too many people think of the Bible only as a Holy book to be
revered. So they put it up on a shelf and make sure no one
mistreats it.

But the Bible is a message from God. It gives us instruction
for our benefit -- practical advice.

It's time to take the Bible down off the pedestal, read it, and
act on its instructions.

Here is one seldom acted upon: talk to things.

The devil wants you to think it would be crazy to talk to
things. But it's not.

Jesus did it. He talked to sickness. He talked to the storm and
told it to be still. He talked to dead bodies and commanded
them to get up. He talked to trees. And He talked to the devil
and told him to get behind him.

Jesus talked to things. You should too.

You should talk to fear and worry. You should talk to
confusion. You should talk to lack. You should talk to
sickness. You should talk to the devil. Tell them to leave.
Tell them to "be removed."

LUKE 17:6 NKJ
6 So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you
can say to this mulberry tree, `Be pulled up by the roots and
be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.

SAY THIS: Jesus said I can talk to things. So I speak to
everything that is of the devil and command it to get out of my
life now , in Jesus name !

Amen excellent topic. I agree. I started to learn this and enjoy mocking that defeated devil prick.

I'll be praising Jesus, throw in a few insults at satan, continue praising GOD - so lol.

These things will not be done or witnessed without true faith, keep this in mind folks

Well yea! If the devil told me I was crazy I`d agree with him!
(as well as anyone else who knows me)
And then I`d laugh, because he only has empty words,
and I`ve got the power!

1Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

19:20 So with power the word of God was increasing and prevailing.

Me too !!! But God can and will move the mountains in you're life with prayer and agreement !!! Mike  :boy_hug: :computer:

And a big Amen to that !

They already think we are crazy -lol -so just go ahead and do what the BIble says to do. We are in REAL good company since JESUS himself spoke these words and spoke to everything that did not line up with God's Word. He is not going to let the devil have his way and we dont have to either! Some people may not like this, but we didnt write it. The LORD DID- thru holy men of God that He chose. Its the Word of God.

Mark 11: 22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Or as some footnotes say- "Have God's kind of faith" . So what is God 's faith like? God speaks His faith. God spoke the whole universe into existance.

23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

So what is your mountain? ( problem?) Tell it to leave in Jesus name - you have authority over the enemy when he trys to bring hinderances. Greater is He who is in you than he that is in the world.

24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

If you really believe WHEN YOU PRAY it says, then you will recieve; Just dont give up and dont take no for an answer. Remember the devil didnt even leave Jesus the first time - not til he was rebuked 3 times and then only for a season.

25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Now here is the answer to some unanswered prayers. ! Most people just read the first part. They dont know why their prayers are not answered because they did what the Word said. Well --- not completely! If you have unforgiveness in your heart toward anyone YOUR sins and shortcomings are not forgiven. So God does not hear your prayer til you get that settled and out of your heart and life. Then he will gladly answer your prayer.

Mike: Amen!

Did you know that there is a theory (science) that sound is eternal?

"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 56:11, NKJ).

When people say we are nuts..we can say, "yes, but we are screwed onto the right bolt" so tight that NOTHING will ever be able to loosen our grip, because the threads interlock...I in HIM, HE in me. Great thought for security!!!...God bless you all.

AMEN Brother,BROTHERSINARMST4G.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.Matthew 21:19

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

AND WHEN THEY SAY YOUR NUTS,(BESIDE YOURSELF), be thankful that you were blessed the same way Jesus's friends treated him.

And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself. Mark 3:21

I am sorry Chad, maybe different in your culture, but in mine this is indecent language.
See Jude 8-10.

Talk to things! A very interesting topic! I shall talk with The Almighty GOD & ask him about that. I like the way you put it, though. But, I must say - the only time I would ever have anything to say to the Devil is when I must say: "Get thou far behind me Satan, for there is only One True GOD we should Worship, and that's The Almighty GOD, The Almighty Father in Heaven! And Only HIM shall I Worship!" Jonah2005 {*genesis!}

See Jude 8-10.

I think Chad's reference is to Ephesians 6:16 - "Above all, take up the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one."

With faith those fiery darts are mere pinpricks that have no power to harm.

LOL I must say my eyes widened at that point about "devil Prick" ..................

Thank you for clarifying that. 180...in your language it is different than ours so please keep that in mind.

BROTHERSINARMST4G, Talk To It has been exclaiming to me ever since two weeks ago, when I read your thread.

Recently in my church Bible study group, the question was asked, "How does God's power that raised Christ from the dead change your perspective?" That is with respect to Ephesians 1:19,20:
and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

This added another meditation to the arsenal for Holy militance that seems to be begging my attention.

Yesterday I was recalling several years ago when everywhere I turned Ezekiel chapter 37 came up. I would open my Bible there it would be, though not priorly frequented pages. At church, on Christian television, our LORD had a conspiracy going to get my attention to verses 1-10:

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"

I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."

Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.'" So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet - a vast army.

I then began applying these Words to an immovably painful circumstance. No sooner did miraculous results arise when a pack of very unmiraculous events raged in, and by the time the misfortunes were ebbing, I'd forgotten about Ezekiel 37. Now the thoughts return about the power of God that can turn old dead bones into a living army.

So your thread here has been like another starting line; I don't know how God wants to use this in my life, but He has been gracing me in amazing new ways since I joined Talk Jesus, and it must be because of you blessed prayer warriors building unprecedented things in the unseen realms! :present:

Glory to our LORD!!

I agree, it is an excellent topic. But I would hasten to add that people need to heed the messages of Lk 18: 1-8 (The persistent widow) and James 1: 2-4 (perseveance).

We cannot approach these things with an attitude that expects things to happen quickly. I think that the reason people get discouraged and give up is because they have a timetable in mind that they think God is going to follow. And they get angry when things don't happen according to plan.

Yes, most certainly talk to it, and well put.
However, there are some observations we need to consider.
Our "talking to it" is because of the victory and authority that Christ has given to us, and not because any of our own doing. Therefore, it must glorify Christ.

Talking to it is not the only way.
We are not to forget other forms of prayer, such as the four mentioned in 1Tim 2:1, viz:
Prayers
Supplications
Intercessions
Thanksgiving.

God Speed
