Today my wife went home, coming from the hair salon. She called me up crying because our beloved dog Rocco ran out of the laundry room and she didn't immediately notice this until she came back shortly later to find him missing. She was crying hysterically on the phone scared because it has happened a few times in the past that our dog escaped. We have gotten a bit worried at those times because of possibilities of him possibly running onto the highway or getting hit by a car on a nearby road.
Nonetheless, in these situations I thank GOD I had peace and faith to just trust GOD and think/say "Lord, please bring him back. I trust you". I encouraged my wife while she was crying, telling her to just pray and trust GOD because GOD has eyes on him and knows where he is, is protecting our Rocco and will bring him back.
Several minutes go by on the phone, listening to her crying and panicking because Rocco was no where to be found, in the dark on a very cold night.
I began praying softly on the phone while she was crying. She also started praying. I did not know she was praying on the phone until later when I came home and she confirmed to me she was praying in Spanish. Within a few seconds of us praying together on the phone, he appeared and ran up to my wife.
Matthew 18:20
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
You see, even "faith as small as a mustard seed" which "can move mountains" certainly can apply to other smaller things as trusting GOD to find your lost dog. Does GOD not see all things?
After all, he knows our thoughts. He created everything in the world by speaking them into existence. Surely, he can find a lost dog for you or provide food for your family or a new job, or heal your body, etc.
Just trust GOD and believe, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
