That is so Great you do Missionary work. I've always wanted to but those doors have never opened up for me....So exciting and challenging. Putting your faith in God and witnessing for Him. What a blessing.

I don't have any pets. I like it that way for now. I had a cat, she got hit by a car. I cried for weeks and weeks. I still miss her. I am not ready to get attached like that again. Maybe someday. It has been 3 or 4 yrs. Not long enough I guess. My Mom wants me to get a puppy. I don't think I am ready for that. lol

Thank you for sharing about your cancer..Judy (I call her my second Mom) had the same kind of cancer you have she had the same sugery also. It was God that helped her through this too. You just get stronger in the Lord when things like this happen. She is now cancer free. Thank you Jesus. I believe in God for you to be cancer free also. My prayers are with you Sister.

I read somewhere that when you are praying it lets off a chemical in the brain that causes healing. They did a study on this. I forgot who. I 'm sure it is on the internet somewhere. lol

Isn't hope in the Lord powerful? "The Power of Prayer"

hi angiethanks for your reply.when i was a little girl i always wanted to be a nurse to help others.my mum had different thoughts and when i grew up she wouldnt let me train for nursing, but deep inside that longing never left me.eventually when i left home i did a lotof travelling to the 3rd world countries.i met sister treasa and worked with the lepers in culcutta/i didnt know the lord[my mum brought me up thinking god was didnt exsist/unfortuantly she still thinks the same] it was through the love i saw from sister treasa that i started thinking hey mum is wrong.over time i went through hard times and i started to seek out god, took time to let him in though but god has his own plans and he took my fears etc and lead me gently into his word,i embrace jesus as my saviour.he given me so much love and strength to cope with whatever obsticals the enemy lays before me,so i give him all the honour and praise his holy name,he has broken chians that bound me,and set me free.i will lift my voice and fall down on my knees, and lift up my hands and praise his holy name.have a good day angie, god bless you and remember all is possible in the lordgelly x

Gelly, that is amazing. I'm so glad the Lord is giving you strength to share your story.

I started the nursing program some years ago. I had to quit to take care of my husband at the time. He was very sick. I have done home health care for years as a cna. Then I started my own business lol. New constuction cleaning was what I used to do for my business.

I asked the Lord into my heart when I was 8 yrs old. I Didn't get baptised until I was 32. lol It was an amazing experience for me.

I hope you are having a blessed day! How are you feeling?
