The goat was innocent but they transferred their sins to him and sent him out to the wilderness to take their sins away temporarily til Messiah was to came. Jesus is like the scapegoat. Our sins were laid upon Him altho He was innocent. They lead Him out of town to crucfy Him on the tree so our sins could be taken away. Thank You Jesus!!!

Acts 1: 10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
