the KJV was the only scripture
that was available to read
today the versions take you on tour
You have such a variety today
of numerous Bible translations
some are great others not
but be thankful for scriptures in many nations
When you look back to saints of old
those who had only King James
their spirituality exceeds us all
putting us to great shame
The KJV has a beauty
with the English of its time
but be so very grateful
you can say my Bible's mine
