"Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." – Ephesians 5:15-20

- What does Paul mean by "making the most of every opportunity"? Opportunity for what?
- Colossians 4:5 says to "be wise in the way your act toward outsiders, making the most of every opportunity." In what ways is that passage and this one similar? Are their messages identical, similar, polar opposites...?
"Lord, make me a devoted follower who is always wise, never missing an opportunity to demonstrate your goodness to others. Reveal to me your will and fill me with your Spirit, that I might be joyful in your love and give thanks to you in everything."
