The day I knew Jesus

I had a friend that was always a nervous wreck. He explored religion and got himself tangled up in so many ways. He was always analyzing words of God. I think he had about 7 or 8 different Bibles and was always so consumed with reading only text and not really believing himself.
He used to muck up my head so much. I was trying and trying to make sense of the Word of God and this fellow would confuse me till all that remained was a little black cloud over my head.
I invited Phil in to my home one day. Off he went on his analysis of Jesus. Needless to say, I had heard it so often from him. I turned to Phil and said "loving Jesus is simple!". Phil sputtered and sputtered at my simple reply to him and ended up leaving all mixed up and in a huff. That was the end of my friendship and theological debate with him. I have prayed for him, now God will do His work.
Saved, yes I am. My salvation came from absolutely chaotic "theological" thinking. Now I can read the Word of God.
Thank You Father, for introducing me, to Your Son. May many come to know Him.

Great testimony, Pixie! Thanks for posting it for us. Our enemy the devil, in his effort to stop God's kingdom advance on earth, follows the old dictum "If you can't convince 'em, confuse 'em!", but you stopped him in his tracks.

"....faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ." (Ro 10:17)

What is "the message"? It is simply that God exists and that he loves us to the extent that he sent his son Jesus to suffer and die for our sins so that whoever believes on him can be with him in eternity.
