The Eternal Arms of God

Our God is in the heavens
always has been always will be
looking down on His creation
our Lord's concerned about you and me

So this God is with us
abiding ever at our side
keeping His eye ever on us
ever and always our eternal guide

Our perfect place of dwelling
is right next to our God of grace
whose love is constantly true
as He's always on our case

When we look underneath us
God's outstretched arms are there
holding us with a fatherly grip
everlastingly in His care

No matter how low we go
God is always there underneath
being our all in all
making us dwell in His perfect peace

Deuteronomy 33 v. 27
'The eternal God is your dwelling place and underneath are the everlasting arms'
