Bear with me; let us begin at the request made by the Son to the Father to create man in "our image". As you read, do note that God is not talking to anyone else; not even the angels, because verse 27 testified that God Himself as the Triune God, did the creation of man in His mage as the Spirit of God did so in agreement with the Father & the Son.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The reason why I said the Son made the request is because that is what John testified of Jesus as being the Word of God by Whom all things were made by Him.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

So man was created per the Son's request to make man in "our" image so that when the Father had agreed, God created man in His image. When 2 or 3 agree, in according to His words, that is how one establish a testimony.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

That is how God establish the matter in creation of man.

Jesus said that one day, we will no longer need the Son to ask the Father for us, for He will show us the Father in Heaven where we will be able to ask the Father directly.

This scripture below testify of Jesus's promise of bringing the abiding bride of Christ to the Father's house where His disciples will have a mansion to live within that Father's house.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

This scripture below testifies to when Jesus will show us the Father in such a way that we will no longer need the Son to ask the Father for us, but in Heaven, we can go to the Father and ask Him directly Himself.

John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. 25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. 26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

Contentions will be made because of some popular and yet errant assumptions were made at the reading of other scripture.

Contention #1 God the Father is invisible.

Any word in the Bible has to be discerned with His wisdom when you see scripture opposing scripture. If God is invisible because of this verse below:

Colossians 1: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

How can there be an image of something invisible? Would not the image of something invisible be invisible? But yet Jesus Christ is not invisible. Therefore, the meaning of invisible in this verse has to mean "not presently seen".

Confirmation elsewhere in scripture? We can know this to be true because invisible is also applied to Jesus Christ below in the scripture.

1 Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. 17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

So Invisible has to mean "not presently seen" as we will see not only Jesus Christ but the Father in Heaven where God dwells and we shall be dwelling with God.

Contention #2 God is a Spirit therefore God the Father is a Spirit

Let us read that verse in context to find that Jesus is answering the woman's question about where to worship God at; at the mountains or in Jerusalem.

John 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

So Jesus was answering the woman's question that God will no longer be confined to a singular place of worship, but that God is Omnipresence whereby the believers can worship God anywhere. Jesus was not really saying that God has no celestial body as if He is just a Spirit.

Christians can worship God anywhere because their bodies are the Temples of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

So how does one come to God the Father anywhere in worship? By coming by the only way provided to come to God the Father by in worship.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

By honoring the Son is how any believer in worship honor the Father by. BUT the moment they stop honoring the Son in worship, they are not honoring the Father. The only way to come to and honor the Father by in worship is by only honoring the Son in glorifying Him.

The Holy Spirit has been sent to dwell in us to join with our testimony to make the testimony of teh Son as true, especially in worship.

John 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me:.......

Those led by the Holy Spirit will not testify of the Holy Spirit to seek the glory of the Holy Spirit in worship when the Holy Spirit will not lead them to do that. The moment believers honor the Holy Spirit in worship, even though He is God, they are not honoring the Father.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

But that is how you can come to God the Father in worship anywhere, by coming to the Son by honoring the Son in worship and thereby honoring the Father as led by the Holy Spirit to do because that is what the Holy Spirit in us has been sent to do in leading us to do the same.

I digress, but its importance and significance is not to be overlooked as this affront to God the Father in worship is everywhere in the churches in these latter days for why many are falling in confusion to visiting spirits when the focus is on the Holy Spirit in worship.

1 Corinthians 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

"God is a Spirit" is just testifying to His Omnipresence as now, Jesus Christ dwells in us and is with us always for why we can come to God the Father in worship by coming to the Son in worship and honoring the Son for by doing so, we honor God the Father in worship.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This concludes the truth that the Father has a celestial body that we will see one day just as the Son did before His incarnation.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
