The Fields of God
Genesis 2:15 says, "Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it."
Tending is an overall responsibility for everyone and the sole reason we are here. It applies to life's spiritual and physical aspects. We are to work where we are placed, and cultivate and encourage growth, while at the same time preserving, guarding, and protecting through maintenance from decay and deterioration.
The Choosing of the Seed;
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The Planting;
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel (thats the same Romans 5:8 gospel) to every creature. (not to saints only)
Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the (sower)Son of man;
Mat 13:38 The field is the world; (not the church) the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Jesus said; Let both grow together until the harvest: Mat 13:30
Notice, Jesus plants us in the field right along side the seed the enemy has planted (that is to say the good seed is not planted indoors, and the tares planted in the field) We are not to segregate ourselves from the world as some so erroneously teach. If the only place you and I go is 'church' and the only people we fellowship with are those from 'church' and we don`t want to go anywheres or do anything outside of 'christian' functions ...we have no understanding of Gods plan for us at all.
God is looking over His fields, and finding His workers (so called) sitting inside man made houses, protecting themselves from the evil of the wicked one. It should occur to the reader, that while these may be protected from evil, they are also protected from the 'sun and the rain' that falls upon the field, and the end result can`t help but be spiritual weakness and death.
1Jo 5:4 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." Faith is useless unless its exercised. Nowhere does the Scripture indicate that those born into a church, and lined up neatly in the pews, and who live a lifetime sheltered from the world, will be the overcomers.

Luk 10:2 The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: PRAY (beg; as binding oneself) then the Lord of the harvest, to send forth labourers (that means BEG Him to send YOU ) into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. (into the field)
Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. (not the light of the church) A city that is set on an hillside cannot be hid.(in the field)
Let your light so shine before men, (all men) that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the tax farmers the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, [to enfold in the arms] what do ye more than the tax farmers?
Clear instructions on how to be productive 'Workers' can pretty much be summed up in this verse;
"By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left"
The Son of man Himself is said to be "... a friend of tax farmers and sinners. And Jesus justified this with these words ;
"Wisdom is justified of her children."
Mat 11:19 Wisom (from above) is the devotion of ones being to the glory of God and the highest good of his kingdom, and it does not bow to human understanding or will, nor its bondages or restrictions. Jesus rejected the dignified scribe but chose to associate with the despised and hated tax-gatherer.
2 Corinthians 6 (read the whole passage)
Key words, all indicative of a close connection to';
yoke = harness together
fellowship = intercourse
communion = partnership
agreement = one accord
6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship [intercourse] hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion [partnership] hath light with darkness?
This verse means, drawing on Deuteronomy 22:10, [do not get harnessed to joined up with, yoke up] with unbelievers. A farmer is in trouble if he yokes an ox and an *** together. These animals pull differently; they do not work well together. Here, the illustration is a believer with an unbeliever, and they also will not pull together because their minds do not work in the same way, or simply stated, they have little in common.
(.2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we [view, perceive, understand, relate to] no man (believer or unbeliever) after the flesh...that is we should have a spiritual outlook now)
2Co 6:16 ..." And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?" [by implication a heathen god, or (plural) the worship of such:] ...Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, (set apart by a boundary) saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; [ceremonially, morally lewd or specifically demonic] and I will receive you;
Look at 2Co 6:14 and ask, was Jesus (sinners being the ones He spent most of His time with) unequally yoked together with unbelievers? Is this not righteousness with unrighteousness? Or communion between light and darkness? Verse 15, is this not Christ with Belial? or the believer with an infidel?
Again, it is not a contradiction for Jesus to have said "Wisdom is shown to be right by what its followers do." (loosely translated)
Jesus was obviously, by scriptural definition, set apart from sinners. He befriended them, but in no sence of the word was He ever 'yoked' to them, or in partnership with them on any moral or spiritual level.
Compare to;
Jam 4:4 and read .." YOU Adulterers and Adulteresses know ye not that the friendship (fondness) of the world (speaking again in the moral sense is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
Joh 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
