Opening Scripture: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in ALL our troubles, so that we can comfort others in trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corin. 1:3,4
This is one of those promises we need to have engraved across our heart and mind because it has monumental value to our everyday life. He comforts us in All our troubles, not most, not some, but ALL our troubles!
Maybe the cares of this world are weighing heavy upon you and or maybe you have lost faith and your heart is growing cold? Allow the Lord to help you today. He loves you with a pure and unselfish, holy love.
Or, maybe the Lord desires to use us today to give back some of that comfort which He's given us to be a help to another person that He puts in your path.
Either way, let us be careful how we live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. /Eph.5:15,16
