The Great Falling Away

2 Cor 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

This is on my mind a lot of late. I think it is on many Christians minds. Just look at how many posts there are on examining yourself to ensure you are a Christian.

How scary is this?????

We can already see it happening all around us.

Pressure is on us all to conform to atheistic school curriculums. Turn on Jesus. Give in to the lusts of our flesh. Discard Jesus and Christianity. It is no longer a benefit to us, it is not an asset in our life. It will not bring us healing nor prosperity. It brings us ridicule and suffering. We give in to god bashing dogma. Join the crowd of 'cough cough' sensible and logical people who think of God as ancient dogma. Joining the crowd of those who scoff at Him because He does not show them a miracle. Bang, Christianity dumped like a bag of rotten potatoes. It no longer fits into our .....selfish, self centered life that is all about us and our level of satisfaction and pleasure.

Scary times we are in now. Scary times are coming. Imagine trusting a brother beside you. Hearing them sing in church and have fellowship on scripture, only to have them turn in an instant into a god hating and backstabbing enemy.

Yes, lets examine ourselves today and ensure we are in fact a Christian!!!!!!!! What is a Christian and how do you become one?

This race to the finish line is no joke, we must hold on to our faith in Christ. Satan is applying the pressure and it's going to harder for us to hold on to it.

When Paul knew he was facing death and the work Christ gave him was now coming to a close. So many things he could have said he was proud of, but what was he the most proud of?

2 Tim. 4:6-7

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:"

The warfare set before us is to keep the faith! Satan can and will take it from us if we don't guard with everything we have from God.

I just want to aay YES we are in the great falling away but as we await the man of sin pay attention to who you support. Those doing the work He wants or those who never have (Matthew 25:31-46). Do not support the goats even if they claim to be of the Church (<ayyhew 25:1-13) for our will should be to do God';s will (Isaiah 58"6-12). That is IFF we have the same Spirit that was in Jesus (Romans 8:9).
