Dear Friends,

I hope this will be a blessing for you, many of us think that hell is a place where you burn for eternity if you're not saved, but the fact is it could be a lot worse than that:

1.) Why did God create Hell?

2 Peter 2:4: For God did not spare even the angels when they sinned; he threw them into hell, in gloomy caves and darkness until the judgment day.

We know that Lucifer was the most powerful and beautiful angel. He rebelled against God because he wanted to be worshipped. As a result a war broke out in heaven between God and His angels and the devil (Lucifer) and his angels. Obviously the devil lost. It is Lucifer’s pride that led to his downfall. Even now he still wants to be worshipped (let’s correlate this fact with a bible verse):

Matthew 4:8-9: Next the Devil took Jesus to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him the nations of the world and all their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will only kneel down and worship me.”

It is because of the devil’s rebellion that God created hell. Now by this we should understand that God created hell for the devil and his angels.

No wonder the devil expresses pure extreme unimaginable hatred for God, because not only did God and His angels defeat him, but they cast him in hell. Even a man cannot have such kind of hatred.

Genesis 1:26: Then God said, “Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves.”

Now we should understand that the bible doesn’t say that the angels of God are made in God’s image. We are made in God’s image. Now this is the reason why Satan is jealous of human beings. So you can surely say, “The devil hates men and women to the same extent as he hates God.”

When the first man sinned, he was not thrown in hell immediately like how the devil and his angels were, but instead God sent His only begotten Son to die for us on a cross.

So you can say that, “Hell was made for the devil and his angels but not for human beings even though we are sinners”.

2.) What is inside hell?

Now God made hell for the devil and his angels. So you can say that everything that hates men and women to the core exists in hell. The expression of hatred towards the people will be unimaginable; far beyond the kind of hatred a man can have.

>>>Torture:

Revelation 20:10: Then the Devil, who betrayed them, was thrown into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Well by this verse you can say that there is torture in hell. The devil and his angels are going to be tortured. Now what about the people that are going to hell? Well they are going to face the same torture as well. Besides that we know that the devil hates human beings because we’re made in God’s image. So the devil will not only be tortured but he (and his angels) will torture people because of his hatred.

On the 700 club I happened to see the broadcast on ‘23 minutes of hell’ by Bill Wiese. The book is about what God showed Bill Wiese in a vision about the reality of hell. He described how the demons literally were ripping the flesh out of him. Also how the demons man handled him and threw his body on to a wall. Of course after God showed him everything in hell, a hand pulled him out of there. It was the hand of Jesus. He asked Him, “Lord why did this happen to me? I’m a born again Christian, I’m saved by Your grace.” Then the Lord said to him, “I wanted to show you what hell is like, so that you can warn people and tell them. Tell the people that I am coming very soon.”

By this you can imagine to what extent demons hate people and the demons love doing it.

Matthew 12:44: Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

By this verse you can imagine, how much demons yearn to possess or torture people. As the people cry out in pain, it heightens their joy to inflict more pain to the people and the demons will continue their merciless torture.

Who knows what else is in store for the people who are going to hell?

Remember, we can defeat the devil only in the Name of Jesus. Without Jesus it is impossible to defeat the devil.

>>>No escape and no death:

Psalm 88:4: I am counted with them that go down into the pit; I am as a man that hath no strength.

Once you’re in there you can’t escape even if you want to, because will not have the strength to even move an inch.

Hebrews 9:27: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”

Once you’re in there, you cannot die even if you want to, because you were already dead. In fact this is called the second death according to:

Revelation 21:8: But cowards who turn away from me, and unbelievers, and the corrupt, and murderers, and the immoral, and those who practice witchcraft, and idol worshipers, and all liars—their doom is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”

>>>No fresh air and water:

Revelation 20:10: Then the Devil, who betrayed them, was thrown into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

When sulfur burns, it will be one of the most disgusting, putrid smells you will ever encounter. The smell in hell could be a lot worse than this. It can perhaps kill you, but you can’t die.

Luke 16:24: “The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in anguish in these flames.’

Obviously there will be no water as this verse describes it.

>>>Deafening noises:

Obviously when the torture is to such a horrible extent, every body will be screaming in pain and agony.

Can you imagine living here for eternity (Loudly)? There are many people who say, “What’s there to enjoy in heaven? The only thing you’ve got to do is to sing songs sadly in front of God”. Even the people who are so called Christians (but not truely born again) say the same thing. Well if this is the case, then let’s warn them about hell.

If only people know what hell is, many souls would not have been lost today.

3.) God doesn’t want any human being to go to hell:

If God really wanted us to go to hell, He would not have sent Jesus Christ to earth, to die on the cross for our sins. First of all we have to admit that we are all sinners, no man on earth is an exception. Even I am no exception I am also a sinner just like you.

Romans 3:23: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Now because we are sinners we cannot be saved by being good, doing good things. We are saved only by the grace of Jesus Christ. It is by His blood that we receive forgiveness of sins.

So if you want to be saved (in other words receive salvation), all you need to do is:

>>>Ask forgiveness from Jesus.
>>>Accept Him as your Saviour and redeemer.
>>>Surrender your life to Him.

Salvation is the first step for Christian life. Our final destination is Heaven.

God bless you.

Praise the Lord.

God Bless xxxxxxx

Thank you so much Mounty,

Even though it is scary, it doesn't mean that I should tell a lie.

Perhaps it could be the most scariest post I will ever post.

God bless you.

Whether it is scary or not, it is always better to tell the truth. So I would be happy if this spreads out to your friends as quickly as possible.

God bless you.

It is a great post but it always saddens me geatly when I think of the people who will end up there.

If you have written this can I copy and paste it to sent out by e-mail please?

Thanks for posting - the compilation is very good and accurate.

Blessings!

Dear Sister Ann,

You can surely copy this and send it to your friends because what's important is that we should bring glory to God.

God bless you.

:love:This post reminds me of something I read sometime ago; When the life we live now is over, we have one of two places to live after this because we will live forever; ask yourself this will I live forever in Heaven or Hell?

That will make the above mentioned post really come alive.

Thank you sister for a wonderful message of the after life, I just hope and pray it will open some lost brother or sister's eyes to the truth before it's eternally to late.

God Bless you all.

Dear Brother Capt Mac,

I'm glad that you enjoyed the post. Certainly I should have added what you said:

>>> "When the life we live now is over, we have one of two places to live after this because we will live forever; ask yourself this will I live forever in Heaven or Hell?"

God bless you. I do wish if you could share this with your friends.

Your Brother,

Continuation - The horror of hell

Dear Friends,

I'm sorry to tell you that I have missed one point in the post. Please forgive me for this. It is about darkness and pain.

Matthew 22:13 .......cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

From this verse you can say that there is going to be pitch darkness. The gnashing of teeth is because of the pain and agony.

God bless you.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine upon it, for the glory of God gives it light and the Lamb is its lamp." (Rev 21:1-2,23)

The children of God will be in the Light for eternity. The children of the devil will be in eternal darkness

A strengthening post

Interesting post to read . Thank you . It is indeed strengthening to know a new heaven and a new earth awaiting for the faithfuls.

Can you please back this up with Scripture about the devil and his angels torturing others while being tortured themselves? This is the only problem I had with Bill Weise's claim of visiting hell. I read the entire book.

I think that it is logical to assume that since hell is a place of eternal separation from God; a place of eternal damnation, there won't be any love shown by the demons for each other or for the condemned souls. Demons are not capable of love.

Undoubtedly they will get sadistic pleasure out of torturing the damned, and they will team up for that purpose, but, hell will not be a pleasant place for them, either.

"And they (demons) begged Him repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss (place of confinement for Satan and his demons)." (Lk 8:31)

Reply to Brother Chad

Dear brother Chad,

I'm glad that you asked me this question. As far as the demons torturing people in hell is concerned, it could be related to this verse:

John 10:10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy……

From this verse we can understand that all of the devil's intentions are nothing but to cause destruction and the devil (and his angels) love to do it. In addition our brother SpiritLedEd mentioned in the post above this post that, "Demons are not capable of love". Besides this demons hate people because we are made in the image of God. So we can confirm the fact that demons will torture people in hell. More over they will take out their frustrations out on the damned (because people are made in God's image) because they lost every battle to Jesus and the armies of heaven.

I believe you will agree with this.

God bless you.

NOTE: I have only heard Bill Wiese tell his experience on the 700 club in God channel, but I have never seen his book of 23 minutes of hell.

I guess, there needs to be a change in this quoted text here, because after the huge discussion some of us were involved in this thread:

http://www.talkjesus.com/streaming-video/16005-visit-hell.html (please see the entire discussion carefully)

I realised after the discussion that the demons cannot torture people in hell while they themselves are being tortured.

If the demons going to torture people in hell, while they themselves are being tortured, that means there are times where they are not being tortured (if they can torture others), which is completely against what the bible says.

Every creature in hell is going to be relentlessly tortured, and there is no end to it.

Please forgive me for posting the wrong thing (originally), we all make mistakes, but God is there to correct us.

God bless you.

Hell

I think there are some major misconceptions of Hell so here we go.

1. How many lost souls are being punished in hell today?

2 Peter 2:9
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished."

There is not one single soul in hellfire today. The Bible says that God reserves, or holds back, the wicked until the day of judgment to be punished.

2. When will sinners be cast into hellfire?

Matthew 13:40-42.
"So shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire."

John 12:48
"The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."

Sinners will be cast into hellfire at the great judgment day at the end of the world--not when they die. God would not punish a person in fire until his case was tried and decided in court at the end of the world. Nor would God burn a murderer who died 5,000 years ago 5,000 years longer than one who dies and deserves punishment for the same sin today.

3. Where are sinners (who have died) now?

John 5:28, 29
"The hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

Job 21:30, 32.
"The wicked is reserved to the day of destruction." "Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb."

The Bible is specific. Both the wicked and the righteous who have died are in their graves "sleeping" until the resurrection day.

4. What is the end result of sin?

Romans 6:23
"The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

James 1:15.
"Sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

John 3:16.
"God ... gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The wages (or punishment) for sin is death, not everlasting life in hellfire. The wicked "perish," or receive "death." The righteous receive "everlasting life."

5. What will happen to the wicked in hellfire?

Revelation 21:8
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

The wicked die the second death in hellfire. If the wicked lived forever being tortured in hell, they would be immortal. But this is impossible, because the Bible says God "only hath immortality." 1 Timothy 6:16. When Adam and Eve were driven from the Garden of Eden, an angel was posted to guard the tree of life so that sinners would not eat of the tree and "live for ever." Genesis 3:22-24. The teaching that sinners are immortal in hell originated with Satan and is completely untrue. God prevented this when sin entered this earth by guarding the tree of life.

The Bible says the wicked suffer "death" (Romans 6:23), will suffer "destruction" (Job 21:30), "shall perish" (Psalms 37:20), will "burn" up (Malachi 4:1), "shall be destroyed together" (Psalms 37:38), will "consume away" (Psalms 37:20), "shall be cut off" (Psalms 37:9), "shall be slain" (Psalms 62:3). God will "destroy" them (Psalms 145:20), and "fire shall devour them" (Psalms 21:9). Note that all of these references make it clear that the wicked die and are destroyed. They do not live forever in misery.

6. When and how will hellfire be kindled?

Matthew 13:40-42
"So shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man ... shall cast them into a furnace of fire."

Revelation 20:9
"They went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

Proverbs 11:31
"The righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner."

*At the end of the world, God Himself will kindle hellfire. As the holy city comes d=54own from God out of heaven (Revelation 21:2), the wicked attempt to capture it. At that time, God will rain down fire from heaven upon the earth, and it will devour the wicked. This fire is Bible hellfire.

7. How big and how hot will hellfire be?

2 Peter 3:10.
"The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

Hellfire will be just as big as this earth because it will be the earth on fire. This fire will be so hot as to melt the earth and burn up all "the works that are therein." The atmospheric heavens will explode and "pass away with a great noise."

8. How long will the wicked suffer in the fire?

Revelation 22:12
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

Matthew 16:27
"And then he shall reward every man according to his works."

Luke 12:47, 48
"That servant, which knew his lord's will, and ... neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes."

The Bible does not tell how long the wicked will be punished before receiving death in the fire. God does specifically state, however, that all will be punished according to their deeds. This means some will receive greater punishment than others, based upon their works.

9. Will the fire eventually go out?

Isaiah 47:14
"Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it."

Revelation 21:1, 4
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth." "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Yes, indeed, the Bible specifically teaches that hellfire will go out and that there will not be left "a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it." The Bible also teaches that in God's new kingdom all "former things" will be passed away. Hell, being one of the former things, is included, so we have God's promise that it will be abolished. If God tortured His enemies in a fiery horror chamber throughout eternity, He would be more vicious and heartless than men have ever been in the worst of war atrocities. An eternal hell of torment would be hell for God also, who loves even the vilest sinner.

10. What will be left when the fire goes out?

Malachi 4:1, 3
"For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch." "And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts."

Notice the verse does not say the wicked will burn like asbestos, as many today believe, but rather like stubble, which will be burned up. The little word "up" denotes completion. Nothing but ashes will be left when the fire goes out. In Psalms 37:10, 20, the Bible says the wicked will go up in smoke and be completely destroyed.

11. Will the wicked enter hell in bodily form and be destroyed both soul and body?

Matthew 5:30
"It is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell."

Matthew 10:28
"Rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

Ezekiel 18:20
"The soul that sinneth, it shall die."

Yes. Real, live people enter hell in bodily form and are destroyed both soul and body. The fire from God out of heaven will fall upon real people and blot them out of existence.

12. Will the devil be in charge of hellfire?

Revelation 20:10
"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire."

Ezekiel 28:18, 19
"I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. ... And never shall thou be any more."

Absolutely not! The devil will be cast into the fire, and it will turn him into ashes.

13. Does the word "hell" as used in the Bible always refer to a place of burning or punishment?

No, the word "hell" is used 54 times in the Bible, and in only 12 cases does it refer to "a place of burning."

Hell is used:
31 times from the word "Sheol", meaning "the grave"
10 times from "Hades", meaning "the grave"
and 12 times from "Gehenna", meaning "the place of burning"
1 time from "Tartarus" meaning "a place of darkness"
54 times in total

The Greek word "Gehenna" (mentioned above) is a transliteration of the Hebrew "Ge-Hinnom," which means the "Valley of Hinnom." This valley, which lies immediately south and west of Jerusalem, was a place where dead animals, garbage, and other refuse were dumped. Fire burned constantly, as it does at modern sanitation dump sites. The Bible uses "Gehenna" or the "Valley of Hinnom" as a symbol of the fire that will destroy the lost at the end of time. The fire of Gehenna was not unending. Otherwise it would be still burning southwest of Jerusalem today. Neither will the fire of hell be unending.

14. What is God's real purpose in hellfire?

Matthew 25:41
"Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels."

Revelation 20:15
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Psalms 37:10, 20.
"For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be." "The enemies of the Lord ... shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away."

God's purpose is that hell will destroy the devil and all sin and sinners and make the world safe for eternity. One sinner, if left on this planet, would be a deadly virus forever threatening the universe. It is God's plan to isolate sin and blot it out of existence for all time.

Ill finish this later sorry ran out of time
Blessings
