Luke 17:20; Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed;
Luke 17:21; nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst."
Luke 17:22; And He said to the disciples, "The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
Luke 17:23; "They will say to you, 'Look there! Look here!' Do not go away, and do not run after them.
Luke 17:24; "For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.

Luke 17:20 Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display,
Luke 17:21 Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].

I hear people say that Jesus is saying here, the kingdom of God is within you. But is that right?
Jesus is saying some people ( not He Himself ) will not be saying "look here" or "look there", but they will be saying the kingdom of God is within you.

Actually Jesus is saying here, when I come back, it will be like lightning flashing across the sky. It won't just be inside you, it'll be evident to the whole world.

It won't be some secret clandestine thing, that just a few people will know about. Everyone will know! It won't just be hidden in your heart.

Rev 1:7; BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
