I am new here. I am so glad God showed me this site, stumbling upon it really really randomly. My love and I just broke off our engagement that has lasted within days of two years. We have not treated our relationship as a blessing in the past few months the way we did when we first started. And now, no matter what he did, I know my faults include ignoring him and his requests, and I've been selfish, not being there for him when he needed me most. Now his heart is hardend and hurt and just wants to be alone.
Please, if God gives you a blessing, treat it as such....A BLESSING AND GIFT FROM GOD!
Now, I am able to let go and let God work in us again. I am doing it without telling my love, but I am starting the Love Dare journal. I know in my heart that God sent this beautiful, goldy, Christian man to my life for me to cherish and not to mistreat. Even though his heart is hurting and determind he wants to be alone right now, God will keep his whispered promises to my heart. If I will have faith and walk with Him, He will heal our relationship, and turn it into something He can be proud of. I can not loose faith.
If you're going through something similar, I suggest the Love Dare, and watch the movie "FireProof". It really is an amazing tool God can use to change your heart and the heart of your love. Even if you are not married, if your relationship has reached this certain stage and you have had God speaking to your heart that "this person" is the one He has for you, please try the Love Dare. You will truly be amazed at the work of God when your 40 days are done!!!! Please let me know if you do this and how it goes for you! I will be keeping my Love Dare journal in my blogg so follow it if you need support!!! I would love words of hope and ecouragemet if God moves you to mail me or comment.
God Bless

When I was a young man a song going around then said...'Love is a many splended thing' It is a wonderful thing....so exciting.....heart beating....thrilling indeed. Well it was for me.
And romance...........?

You speak of a couple of years passing....was he romantic? If not maybe you are better off without him.....I don't know surely....Romance is comes from the heart.....manifested in expressions....... to be near and to please

The man should take the lead in the courting stakes......he has to win the heart of his lady......he has to be romantic...come up with idea's to please, to pampher, to entertain, to give his lady pleasure

The bible has many good things to say about a godly woman.

Sister....be 'godly' being such I am sure will attract Mr right......who will be watching you

In His Love
