for we know that in Messiah/Christ all things work together for good. Thing is, the more thanks we give the more we open ourselves to attack. Will we lay ourselves bare for anguish and suffering, as did our Lord and our Saviour, in giving honor, praise, and thanksgiving to Him before humanity or will we quietly run along hoping for what little comfort the enemy permits in our short time in this mere physical realm? I am going to thank you my Lord God/Jesus and anticipate your deliverance of me from this mere physical bondage by which humanity is bound.

What you say sounds so 'spiritual'...yet to me, there is something not quite right . Just because a believer receives comfort does not mean it comes from satan. Just because the believer is not presently going through some form of persecution does not mean he is walking contrary to God. God gives comfort to His people. Our deliverance comes from God many times in this life.

The 'bondage' is not physical as opposed to spiritual. The bondage is the fallen nature that we received from Adam. The end result of our salvation will be both physical and spiritual. The two will not be opposed.

A Brother in Christ I know, likes to say that if we're not in the middle of it, then we're about to enter it! I have gathered he means that 'it' are the trials and tribulations we go through. He also sees that our growth happens best during these instances. For surely, humanity has a tendency to learn best from hardships verses the good times.

Some verses that come to mind which I associate with this.

[Jhn 16:33 KJV] 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

[Jas 1:2-3, 12 KJV] 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience. ... 12 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

[Rom 8:18, 28 KJV] 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. ... 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
