This is my favorite scripture concerning prayer. I like the NLT best for James 5:16
"Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results."

Jiggyfly, I love that verse too, Philips translation puts it "the earnest prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available. There is indeed power in prayer.
