Brothers and Sisters,

I am writing this thread because I am in desperate need of prayer.. Things in my life seem to be barreling out of control at points.. I have noticed that I am not letting these things go like I should and holding on to them.(Hence one of the reasons for such rude behavior on my part but its no excuse I should not have done it)

Many things in my life right now are way out of control. My home is in foreclosure and the bank really doesnt want to work with us.. ( I am so embaressed by this... I dont know how this happened ) My brother lives with us right now and he is kinda angry about different things in his life and sometimes I get verbally attacked. My mom is having a severe battle with depression that causees her and my father to both behave strangely at times. (Both my parents have been christians for 30 years and the enemy keeps attacking)

My 7 year old is having a real hard time at school makeing friends and learning. He is in the process of being tested to see what is wrong. He gets teased because his reading and writing are way behind and I just feel like I am failing him.

Our mini van died awhile ago and it cost way to much to fix it and we owe so much money on it that we cant junk it.. So it sits in our driveway till it's paid off. We could not afford to buy another van so we were only useing my husbands work care. My parents bought us a second car (one to get back and forth $400). Well my hubbys car will not pass the emes test ( a mandatory test for all cars ) so we were down to one car and then that cars breaks went.. its undriveable. So now we are trying to get the more reliable care fixed which is the one that wont pass the test. (Giant headache) (So you know 3 kids in a back seat that only seats 3 can well push you over a edge all on its own :) )

My aunt died and I am so happy she went to be with Jesus I cant help but think off all the time I could have spent with her and didnt... But yet my grandmother who just got out of the hospital I have not spent time with.. Its like what do I do I want to be with them and spend time its just hard. They are in a different state.

I am now having to get a full time job so that maybe we can get alittle out of this mess.. And it saddens me . I have been home so long and I will miss this time with my kids because I will have to work in the evening..

I am concerned for my husbands job because they keep laying people off (which my brother was on voluntary lay off because he hurt his back but the called him back and layed off someone else)

So its been really trying for me and I am sorry that I went on and on... I just need your prayers ! Thank you so much !

Love in Christ
Bobbie

Sister . You are in our prayers . All will be well . This trial too will pass and joy will come in the morning . Hang on to the promise . :boy_hug: MikeT4G

Bobbie, listen to the message in this promise sister...God promised to supply all your need, and if He has`nt supplied it, you don`t need it! Think back over your christian walk, and see if these words are true, and it will help you to apply them to your life now. Over the past ten years since my husband was injured and unable to return to work, this has become a very faithful and true promise of God to me. Let me also assure you that God does`nt need you to "go to work" to keep His own Word. Unless you know without a doubt that He is directing you to do so, be still, and let Him do what He does best, which is provide for His children. We will be praying with you, and for you, that you will experience peace that surpasses all your understanding in the midst of this storm!

Bobbie, you are in my prayers too. There's an old saying "Let nothing alarm you, let nothing disturb you. Everything passes, but God." This trial too will pass. He is the One who remains constant in your life. :girl_hug:

Thank you very much sisters and brother . Coconut my sound is broken on my computer.. Is there a way to read it? I love you guys !

Your in my prayers sister. Don't worry about nothing. GOD gave us so many promises, nicely packaged with Salvation in Jesus Christ. Praise Christ for all that He Redeemed back to us.

Be well

Bobbie, I agree with the coconuts. When you have walked this walk as long as we have, you will learn that God works all things to the good of those who serve Him. He is faithful.

Please pray and seek His face on wether you should go back to full time work.

Trust Him with all you have and know that your brothers and sisters at TJ are praying for you.

 your sister in Christ,
Mary:girl_hug:

I AM PRAYING for....

I am praying for you and yours to have peace in your minds, hearts, spirits and lives, Bobbie.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Psalms 126:5

These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelations 7:14

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelations 12:11

Ms. Bobbie mam maybe your pastor can help? He may know of like a retired mechanic or something that may be willing to look at your vehicles for you. Brakes are really pretty easy to change on most newer cars.Should we be praying that your brother finds a place of his own or to come to grips with whatever is eatin at him so as not to take it out on you? I know a guy that lost his house and when the bank put it up for auction his church loaned him the money to buy it back for less than what he owed on it originally.I know you just asked for prayer and not advice so forgive me if I have overstepped. One more thing is be careful with what they tell you about your son, pray heavly over the test results if as his mother something doesn't feel right. Remember God will not put more on you than he knows you can handle and think SPRING!

Prayerfuly yours
John

bobbie,

I agree with evergreen, many churches have put funds away to help. If they don't, sometimes they have members who might help fix a car or help in other ways, heating or electric bills or just have someone who is good with finances who can help point you in the right direction. Some churches here just know some goverment programs or have food banks. Sometimes not having to put money out for food, helps put the money in the heating bills or car repair.

Talk to your pastor, it will not hurt. Plus he will also pray for you.

We will lift You and your family before our loving God, our heavenly Father, who promises all this:
“ Out of my distress I called on the LORD;the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? ” (Psalm 118:5-6)
"No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you."
(Josua 1:5)
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
"Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you."[a] 6So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?"
