The Resurrection

I was thinking about the Rapture and Resurrection and was wondering if anyone else was seeing the first Resurrection as happening to different groups at different times. So I googled it, and found this site. It makes sense to me, since there were people that were resurrected when Jesus died

I'm of the opinion that when Jesus rose there was a resurrection and he emptied paradise of believers. The odd thing is that he preached the gospel to the souls that were there in paradise.

I've never believed that Christians go directly to heaven after death. Seems to me that saved souls go to paradise to await the resurrection. Neither am I convinced that after the Lord returns, resurrected and raptured believers return to earth and live in the Millennium.
