Before time, and the world existed, God had a plan. That plan was to make sons that would know good and evil and overcome the evil of the world
prepared just for them here on earth. These sons would one day come to possess the fullness of God and be just like Him. Jesus, the pattern Son, was
the first and only Son to complete the journey so far, but the time is at hand when the firstfruits group of sons will come to perfection as He did.
Heb 5:8-9
This statement can be clearly seen by knowing that God had foreordained Jesus to be the propitiation for sin BEFORE the foundation of the world.
1 Peter 1:20 Ephesians 1:4
Thus God knew exactly what would happen in that He created the tree containing both good and evil and as it is necessary to know good and evil
to become like God mankind had to know them both. Gen 3:22
So Jesus was that sacrifice for the sin of mankind, God knowing that a carnal minded man would chase after sin as though it was the only thing
that mattered. Self preservation, selfishness, self centered, self love etc...
Second we are told that the revealing of these sons is what will eventually set the creation free from the vanity is was subjected to unwillingly.
Rom 8:19-21
Just given these 2 statements it should be clear that the goal is to become a son that has all the characteristics of His Father, the creator of everything.
Not to go to heaven but TO BE what our Father is. A spirit that has life within itself and is capable of passing that life on to others. Just as He did to
Jesus, (John 5:26) who in turn is passing that perfected life on to us, which can be noted by John TB when he stated that Jesus was the one who would
baptize with the Holy Ghost, John 1:33. Actually a witness to what God said to John.
The life was passed from Father to Son then from Son to us as the Father sees fit to call each son that He is ready to begin the refining process on.
That process involves suffering for revelation, hearing, seeing, understanding, wisdom, sin against you. For without forgiveness of sin that comes at
you you cannot be perfected, thus the overwhelming majority of mankind, at this moment, are not called for they are being used to perfect
the elect in this time period. Thus just as Jesus said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." This same mindset must live in you.
We know that perfection will come someday, and we know that we shall see Jesus as He is for we shall be like Him. Thing is He is just like God
and even called God by the Father.
So what shall the sons of God Be?????? Seeing they possess all the character of their Father and nothing shall be impossible to them at that time.
Matt 17:20 For their faith shall have been perfected.
Its all about the Father bringing MANY sons unto a glory they cannot begin to comprehend. Heb 2:10
