The Shining Light

Without light we can't see
what can we do for our blindness
we are at eternal loss
surrounded by such darkness

But Jesus came to rescue us
from this big dark hole
coming as the savour of the world
bringing light to our soul

For Jesus knew our big problem
we love the dark more than light
so He brings us a new heart
to give us spiritual sight

Now we have God's light
to shine upon all around
bringing the gospel light
making such a joyful sound
