Is the Word of God sufficient? Well we know that the first book in the Bible is Genesis and the last Revelation. Genesis meaning Beginning and Revelation means to take the cover off. It is the uncovering of the glory of Christ. It talks of the future ....
Revelation 1:8 reads:Jesus speaking of Himself ....
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the almighty.
John 1:1-2 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
So Jesus is the Genesis (Alpha - beginning)
The Revelation of the Glory of Christ. (Ending) We see Him on the throne and being worshipped. Us with Him our end state! (Omega). He will return and take us to Himself John 14:1-3
He is everything in between Genesis and Revelation as well - the Word of God!!
Which is (present) New Testament. We declare Him to the world as God causes us to grow 1 Cor 3. We grow from glory to glory in Him 2 Cor 3.
Which was (Past) Old Testament.
Which is yet to come (Future) Us worshipping Him - the Lamb on the Throne. To be eternally with Him. Our future state.
He must be the Beginning and the End in our lives. No room for self effort or the fleshly desires. He must be the beginning and the end. Who Is currently working in us, Who was bringing us to Himself Gal 3:24 (Wherefore the law was our schoOlmaster to bring us unto Christ ....) and whom will return to take us home John 14:1-3
Enjoy
