In v. 6-7 Paul was shocked at the Galatians defection from the gospel of God’s undeserved grace. The Galatians had unwittingly fallen for a different message.
In v. 8-9 Paul’s concern for the purity of the gospel message is revealed by his assertion that he would condemn to destruction anyone who taught a false gospel, including himself.

IF ANY RELIGION OR CHURCH OR PERSON TEACHES OR ADDS ANYTHING TO THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST TO BE SAVED, THEY AND ALL WHO BELIEVE IN THEM AND TRUST IN THEM ACCORDING TO THE APOSTLE PAUL THEY ARE ACCURSED.(damned).

8. Call the pope a Vicar of Christ, supreme pastor and teacher and has ultimate power over every soul.
JEHOVAH'S WITNESS
1. God is a person, not a trinity
2. Michael the archangel was created first and created all things through Michael.
3. The holy spirit is a force
4. Jesus was Michael the archangel who became a man.
5. Their church is the self-proclaimed prophet of God.

7. Only their church members will be saved.

1. The angel Gabriel brought the revelation of the Koran to Muhammad
2. The holy spirit is the angel Gabriel
3. Jesus was a great prophet but not the son of God, is not divine, was not crucified
4. Muhammad is Allah’s greatest and last prophet and his message supersedes all other past prophet’s including Jesus.

QUESTION: what about church tradition? is it not as true as the bible?
ANSWER: Every professed Christian church system in the land has their covenants and creeds. these are usually traditions handed down from their forefathers. Every cult is a product of extra biblical revelations, and other books that they add to the bible. The BIBLE is the only guide. JESUS said "man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD." (Matthew 4:4). GOD put three guide posts in his WORD. He begins with, ADD NOT TO MY WORD" deut, 12:32. Then GOD repeats the same thing in( proverbs 30:5-6) Every word of GOD is PURE: he is a shield unto them that put THEIR TRUST IN HIM. ADD thou not unto his WORDS, least he REPROVE thee, and thou be FOUND A LIAR. revelations 22:18-19). FOR I testify unto EVERY MAN that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any MAN shall ADD unto these things, GOD shall ADD unto him the PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK, and if any man shall TAKE away from the WORDS of the BOOK of this PROPHECY, GOD shall take away his part out of the BOOK OF LIFE, and out of the HOLY CITY, and from the things which are written in this BOOK.
TRADITIONS are mentioned in the bible, but not too FAVORABLY. Speaking to the religious leaders of his day, JESUS said, "making the WORD OF GOD of none effect through YOUR TRADITIONS, which you have delivered: and many such like things do you. "mark. 7:13. THE bible declares that GOD has spoken to us in the last days BY HIS SON. (Hebrews. 1:2). holy men of GOD WROTE AS THEY WERE INSPIRED OF GOD. " ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION lit. GOD-breathed) of GOD and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS: that the man of GOD may be PERFECT, thoroughly furnished unto ALL GOOD WORKS." 2 timothy 3:16-17. WE don't need traditions. read (2 peter 1:21).
