When the down days come
then you feel all alone
Jesus is still with you
for the Lord's on His throne

So remember your blessings
they're always more than your woes
God's eye is always watching
making sure you both are close

Keep looking to heaven
God's victory is there
for ultimately when you arrive
realising it's been one long love affair

God sees your first and last breath
in between he's working on you
perfecting you through storms and sun
for God always is absolutely true
