Everyday, after school,
I pass a very lonely spot.
A place that is dark and quiet,
Which I call the vacant lot.
Everyday, no one there,
Not a person anywhere,
It is very damp and hot,
And I call it the vacant lot.
Everyday I'd like there to be,
Someone there except for me.
I wish there was some one, but there's not,
That's why I call it the vacant lot.
