Blessings,
My name is Keith. I am a retired Homeless Shelter Director—30 years as a Christian and 25 in the ministry. I studied the Bible for 5 years. I chose this particular pastorate because I count myself intra-denominational. Prior to ministry I studied and worked in optics for 15 years.
I believe the Bible is perfect whole and complete. I believe there are extra-Biblical materials that are good helps in understanding the Bible. I believe when proving the Bible it should be done from within. I believe extra-Biblical documents are good but should not be used as proof texts. The Bible proves itself. The Bible is the word of God and is perfect whole and complete.
I believe science is a gift to mankind from God. I believe ultimately that science is a key factor in helping us to preach the Gospel to all nations. Science helps us in gaining a world view. When we get more Christian influence in the scientific communities, our science will begin with love and end with love—it will not begin with a big bang and end with the big bang of a bomb.
My growing theology right now is the belief that the Bible gives us an eternal paradigm. I am convinced that our historical paradigm will pale as we take on that which is eternal—as we the Christian community steadfastly look for Christ Jesus in the coming Kingdom and give that hope away freely to the world.
I love Jesus. I can see the Kingdom coming!
