They are of the world!
1Jn 4:4 We are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1Jn 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Many will say they are on the narrow road, they will say they are a saved and sanctified follower of Christ, but do not obey Him, or keep His commands, they sit under the spirit of error every week at their beloved church which seems harmless on the outside, attraction, great music and fellowship, along with the beautiful people, who will love you until you come against their precious doctrines. They have a form of godliness but surely deny its power to truly save a soul from the lies and deceptions around every corner! All through scripture we are warned to be diligent, many on do not be deceived, beware, stand fast, keep yourself, and guard you heart. The spirit of God can only abode in a cleansed and purged heart, not a perfect heart, but perfect in sincerity, purity and love, especially for God, His son, and our neighbor. Those still carnal in mind will hate truth, hate the saints giving it to them, and make every excuse in the book why they can sin like the devil, love to be of the world, and claim they are in the will of God, I see this as total hypocrisy, and being double minded. But if He is in you, you have all you need to resist all temptations, and walked as He walked, our King of Kings, who overcame all, to pave the way through this sin sick world and church.
