"But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead." [they will not listen to Jesus, the one who rose from the grave]

Acts of the Apostles:
14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spake forth unto them,'saying , Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and give ear unto my words. 15For these are not drunken, as ye suppose; seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16but this is that which hath been spoken through the prophet Joel:

17And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:

18Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.

19And I will show wonders in the heaven above, And signs on the earth beneath; Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:

20The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the day of The LORD come, That great and notable day .

21And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of The LORD shall be saved.

22Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God unto you by mighty works and Wonders And Signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as ye yourselves know; 23him, being delivered up by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye by the hand of lawless men did crucify and slay: 24whom God raised up, having loosed the pangs of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

25For David saith concerning him, I beheld the Lord always before my face; For he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; Moreover my flesh also shall dwell in hope:

27Because thou wilt not leave my soul unto Hades, Neither wilt thou give thy Holy One to see corruption.

28Thou madest known unto me the ways of life; Thou shalt make me full of gladness with thy countenance.

29Brethren, I may say unto you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us unto this day. 30Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins he would set one upon his throne; 31he foreseeing this'spake of the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he left unto Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. 32This Jesus did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye see and hear.

34For David Ascended Not Into The Heavens: But He Saith Himself, The LORD said unto MY LORD, sit thou On My Right Hand,

"But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead." Hello @PloughBoy,

The words that the Lord ascribes to Moses in Luke 16:29-31, bring the words of Moses himself to mind in Deuteronomy 18:-

'The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee
a Prophet from the midst of thee,
of thy brethren, like unto me;
unto him ye shall hearken;
According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God
in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying,
"Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God,
neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not."
And the LORD said unto me,
"They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee,
and will put my words in His mouth;
and He shall speak unto them all that I shall command Him.
And it shall come to pass,
that whosoever will not hearken
unto My words which He shall speak in My name,
I will require it of Him. ... ... '
(Deu 18:15-19)

They Will listen: For true, it has been Prophesies and if they do not listen, He will dash Them to pieces, For He will rule will a Iron ROD! And the Armies of Heavens will be with Him. The Day will come, when The FATHER will send Him forth, and The SON, will step off of The Throne in Heaven, where He is sitting down at The right hand of The FATHER. and He will bear The Wrath of The FATHER, All Nations will bow. and No where in The Book has said He will Rule in Love. This time He will not Be Bringing LOVE, But The Armies of HEAVEN. They Will Bow, who refuses to Bow He will Make them. Saids, "The WORD of GOD".

1Why are the nations in an uproar,
And the peoples devising a vain thing?

2The kings of the earth take their stand,
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the LORD and against His Anointed:

3“Let us tear their fetters apart,
And cast away their cords from us!”

4He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.

5Then He will speak to them in His anger
And terrify them in His fury:

6“But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”

7“I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD:
He said to Me, ‘Thou art My Son,
Today I have begotten Thee.

8‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Thine inheritance,
And the very ends of the earth as Thy possession.

9‘Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron,
Thou shalt shatter them like earthenware.’”...ff.
[He will rule and it will Not be with love, the Bible says, that he will Rule the nations with a "IRON ROD", For they will summit.]

Revelation 2:27
He will rule them with an iron scepter and shatter them like pottery--just as I have received authority from My Father.

Revelation 12:5
And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne.

Revelation 19:15
And from His mouth proceeds a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

Numbers 24:8
God brought him out of Egypt with strength like a wild ox, to devour hostile nations and crush their bones, to pierce them with arrows.

[He is a KING, "The King of all kings" and He go's forth to Conquer. and "GOD" is His FATHER who have given Him a Command, To Go forth and Conquer.]

[And those of us who endures The Truths, He will grant:]

Revelation 2:26
"And to the one who overcomes and continues in My work until the end, I will give authority over the nations." [ and we will Rule with Him with the same "Iron Scepter".] For it is a joint rule. to those who have overcome this world, and love not the things in it!]
