So people say 777 is God's number and its a good sign if you see that often. Is this a Christian thing or is it made up?

I think you're referring to "666" rather than "777" -- "666' is the number / mark / of the beast which is talked about in book of Revelation 13: 16 - 18.

It will be something in the future -- but not a God thing.

Numerology applied to those numbers found in scripture. Nothing definitive, just speculation.

In the Bible 7 is associated with completeness. In 7 days God created the heavens and the earth. It crops up all over the place

By association, 6 is falling short of perfection. The number of the beast indicates fail, fail, fail.

Some take 777 to be the opposite of this, but I can't recall it featuring in scripture.

Interesting, but not something to lose sleep over, I guess.

I've never seen '777' in Scripture.

And , yes, there Are those who take Numerology seriously. See things in Scripture that aren't there.

And, yes, the number 7 is associated with completeness.

But there's plenty of Scripture Other than numerology to get really 'get into'.
