There’s no question that this generation is incredibly sinful, if not the most sinful out of all the previous generation. Never has there been a time where sinning has been easier and as rampant. Things like technology has given us everything we want, yet for most of the people in this world, it has taken from us the the most important thing of all and that is having a relationship with Jesus.

I know how hard it is to give up worldly things and the pleasures of this world. I was addicted to videos games and pornography for several years. These 2 things were poison to my soul and ruined me. I even tried to kill myself because of it. Luckily, I seeked help from a relative who prayed for me. Now there might be some of you out there reading this and are living a life like the worldly people do, who only try to satisfy their fleshly desires like I did. Well let me tell you that it’s time to change! We NEED God more than ever, especially in these times we are living in.

God CAN help you overcome whatever it is in your life that’s preventing you from having a true relationship with Him. Whether it’s video games, lust, anger, jealousy, pride, any addictions, etc. Only God can give you the strength to overcome any obstacle in your life. Here are some very important things I’m about to tell you so please pay attention. Do these things daily. Before you go to sleep at night and after you wake up you in the morning, you should always get down to the floor on your knees and pray to God to forgive your sins, to give you the strength to overcome your fleshly desires and the things of this world, and to give you knowledge and wisdom.

Even if you get what you prayed for, you should still pray for the same things. A lot people don’t think prayer is that important, but recently I’ve come to the realization, thanks to a brother in Christ, that prayer is actually one of the most important things. This might sound strange for most of you but you should try to pray for at least an hour or 2. And I don’t mean right when you wake up, I mean during the middle of the day or at the evening. The reason you want to do this is because prayer is a time where you can get real with God if that makes sense. It’s like you’re spending quality time with Him and talking to Him and it’s very important for building your faith towards Him. You should just say whatever is on your mind. Try to get as real as possible with Him. I want you to watch this video. This brother in Christ explains it way more clearly. Once you have prayed the next thing you should do is read your Bible for at least an HOUR or more.

Reading your Bible daily is one of the most important thing to do in your daily life as well. People these days don’t even take 5 minutes of their time to read their Bible because they are so caught up in their life of vanity. The more you read the Bible the more you’ll be able to resist the things Satan throws at you and the more increase in faith you’ll have. Your Bible is essentially your spiritual food and water. Without it, you WILL NOT last long and you’ll find yourself going back to the sinful lifestyle you were living. I know this because I went back to my old sinful lifestyle and the main reason why I went back is because I would literally read the Bible everyday for about only 5 mins. 5 mins. is just not enough!

Also make sure to get the KJV version of the Bible, the other versions such as the NIV or ESV have been manipulated and changed. So please DO NOT take it lightly, when I say read your Bible daily! “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16) Praying and reading your Bible seems easy, but the real challenge comes when you try to abstain from the worldly things you used to do. You’ll get tempted even more and you’ll know that you’re truly following Jesus when you get all these temptations from the Devil.

Remember that once you’ve been born again, you are a new creature. Your old ways have passed. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case with most christians today. Most christians think they’ve been born again yet they live like the world, they conform to this world, they do the things of this world, they speak like the world and therefore the world hears them. Then when trials, tribulation, and persecution comes they fall away because they never had a good root to begin with. And remember that the world loves its own, so if you claim to be a servant of God but the world loves you, then you seriously need to re-evaluate your faith. When you’re truly born again you are to be hated by the world. "You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.”(Matthew 10:22) Jesus also said that if the world hates you, remember it hated Me before it hated you. Apostle Paul was beheaded for Jesus’ name sake. Apostle Peter was crucified upside down for Jesus’ name sake. Another great example is Noah. Noah spent over 120 years building the ark and the world mocked him, scoffed at him, and they thought he was absolute insane. But then the flood came and destroyed all the ungodly people. All those men had one thing in common and that was that they were true servants of God and so they were hated by the world. Because when you are TRULY born again you will be hated by the world, you will suffer for God, you will be mocked by the world, and you will be considered an outcast by the world. By the way there are brothers and sisters in Christ all around the world that are getting killed for Jesus’ name sake. In the Bible it says that Moses chose rather to suffer for God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. We as servants of God need to realize that the desires and the materialistic things we hold onto so dearly in this life are just not worth it.

The things God has in store for us in Heaven are a billion times better than what this world has to offer! Don’t live this life for your own sake. Live this life for only God’s sake. "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it.” (Mark 8:35) Apostle Paul said it best about living this world for only God. In Galatians 2:20, Paul says "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” So let us not be lukewarm in these dark times. Let us live like how Paul lived. Let us walk through the narrow gate, for the road that leads to destruction is broad and many enter through it. God bless you all!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I realize that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and ask for your forgiveness. I believe you sent your only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for my sins upon the cross and His blood was shed for me. I believe that you God raised Jesus up from the dead and He sits at your right hand. I place my trust in you and ask you to come into my heart. Guide me and direct me that I may do your will in all things. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Scriptures

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)

Armor of God: wordunplugged.com/armour-of-god/

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ NIV)

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” (Matthew 16:24)

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. (Luke 12:31)

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6 11-12)

Therefore, "Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." (2 Corinthians 6:17)

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16)

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Galatians 5:24)

Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:8)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

I agree with you on the sinful state of the world. IMO, its due to so many Christians gone into apostasy and now the world lacks
large areas of spiritual protection. However, this is prophetic. Right before the end of this age, there is going to be
a great falling away by believers. Its almost old news now. When that falling away happened, the anti-Christ would
be not far away from arriving on the scene. I have studied the world's spiritual state and it does look like the man of sin
is not far away. When he arrives, our departure is right after that. Keep looking up, our redemption might be closer than
we think.

Brother I am impressed with your heart, and such Wisdom at such a young age. We are living the worse of times, and the best of times as concerning the world, and the Church. The upcoming generation of believers needs to have a mind set of going all out for the Lord, and not turning back. I am not convinced that the organised Church can bring about this kind of believer. Being able to look from afar and see the failings of those who never get to the place of advancing in the teachings of the Spirit, but stay learning the same old things over and over again. The Body of Christ needs to breathe in the all the Holy Spirit has for us, to be able to go forth in his power and Wisdom.
