Those who love Him and want to talk about Him

Then those who feared the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name. (Malachi 3:16 ESV)

This may be a little bit of a strange thread, but I am wondering if there others out there who feel similarly.

The Lord has done great things for me. He has had great mercy beyond my wildest dreams. He is the best thing that has every happened.

I love to worship and be in His presence. And I love to talk about Him and be with those who also love to talk about Him. These days I seem to be having a hard time sometimes finding those who really like to talk about Him. I am not knocking my brothers and sisters. I think the enemy tries to squash the hearts of the Lords people and get them full of other things that distracts their hearts from Him. So I am not criticizing or angry with anyone ... I just feel lonely sometimes.

Are there others of you out there that are so thrilled with Him, He is your joy and delight? And in many ways, you don't really like to talk much about mundane things so much - not that you are a pharisee or a prude - it is just that in all sincerity, He is the best thing that you have ever found, He is the joy of your heart, and it longs for Him!

Dear Brother.
It's difficult to pick any one answer. All of them are relevant to me at different times and sometimes all at once.

1. I love Him like crazy and He is the desire of my heart. - At times I am so overwhelmed with love that my cup runneth over with desire for Him.
2. I fear the Lord, have a great awe of Him, and see Him as a consuming fire. - I too also feel a great fear for God for the all consuming power that is Him. Knowing Him as Creator of all things. How can one not be in awe, and yes even fear. Then clarity comes that He choose me.
3. I fear the Lord and His judgement on my life. - I look at my frailty of my walk and how much affect the world has upon me in my life and though I know His forgiving Grace. That it is not dependent upon what I do but that it is all Him still does not change the times that I fall upon my face in shame of this very weakness in me.

For in each there is a wonderfulness that can be found in them. Because His presence is in all of them. Yes, even in judgement and the consuming fire. For with it comes Purity, Holiness by His cleansing power. So, that if my focus is Him at all times, in all circumstances, I can rejoice and find peace in His Almighty Presence.

Thank-you for opening this poll. It poses a question we should look to in honesty and never stop continuing to do at times as we continue our walk with Him and also with each other. For there is nothing like praising, and worshiping God with other Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus who have been washed clean by the Blood of the Lamb!

I find when the Spirit of fear of the Lord kicks in, it doesn't take me long to get moving. I already know I shouldn't be there, doing or even being a witness to their unruly lifestyle, I speak what I can about HIM and walk on. I planted a seed and had enough sense to get gone.

Yes I fear God, he has the power to cast into hell, nobody else. He is worthy to be feared. Look how unselfish he was and is toward us still today.

Yes, I was on fire for God and a bright light did shine and the people of God has caused me great sorrow and I wonder does His light even burn at all now and if he even hears me.

Yes, there is nothing I had rather talk about than the Lord, things He has shown me and His What I have heard Him speak. But those who don't know Him rather talk about the lust of the flesh and the pride of this life. They want to talk about grandkids and their worldly meetings; God is not first at all.
Many honor Him with their lips but their heart is far from Him. Amen

Those (in the wor)d) has been much better listeners than any who sits (in the church house) has been. Those ask questions and are curious; those bite and gnash with their teeth and hates the Lord's daughter.

Don't seek God's people for approval, you won't find it; seek God, He is our approval and our witness. Amen. When we have conversation with God and the Holy Spirit ministers the Word of Truth to us, that is perfect. That one conversation with God supercedes any worldly chatter they care to infect us with.

Yes, where are His people on the highways and byway? Sure is quiet out here. Been quiet a mighty long time. They know they haven't been doing it; now be obedient to God, having no respect or of persons and tell them so.
