After speaking with a dear brother this morning about his conversion in Germany, I thought of how the Spirit calls us in our own language.
A lot of controversy has been over the doctrine of tongues.
No matter a person’s language, that is the language you are called by.
This tends to go against erratic speech.(gibberish)
On Pentecost everyone heard in his own language. When the Holy Spirit speaks today we hear in our own language.
We don’t need an interpreter when he speaks.

1 Cor 12:10

To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

If it requires a gift to interpret.... Plus scripture speaks of the tongue of angels I think.

If someone is speaking to you in Spanish, you need an interpreter.
If the Holy Spirit speaks to you,no one else is needed.

While true, most people who call themselves christians have very little connection with the Holy Spirit, at least thats what I have noticed. Short on the fruits of the Spirit which is basically how one knows if others have much of a connection with the Holy Spirit. Most christians just depend upon the word of God, and are fearful of the leading of the Holy Spirit.
