Hello dear brothers and sisters. I began writing mini stories about me and God (but could be anyone in particular, but I aim at the concept). They're short but explains a little bit how my life is now with God, whereas before it was bad.

I hope you like them as I plan to post more c:

Part 1: Temptations

This one day I walked with Him, holding His right hand while glancing around the world. Different things, both good and bad called my attention, but He held my hand firm.

I took a glimpse at my Lord, a gentle smile formed on His lips. “Stay close to me, My child, I do not wish to see you gone.”

I blinked in confusion though I agreed to do so. As we both kept walking, I spotted this one dark figure in the distance. It was a man, his face was covered but I could see a twisted smirk on his lips.

I pointed out to my Father “Look, who is that?” I asked. God shook His head and said “Do not go there.” but it was hard to stay. The curiosity kept bothering me, and for a moment I left His side. God's expression changed, He got saddened, but kept on calling out for me to return.

The man offered me something, and I accepted. My white clothing I had got all dirty and the guilt struck my heart. I could have stayed with the Father, but then I ran off. The man left, leaving me all alone and heartbroken, as the tears rolled down my cheeks. I looked around and Father was there, coming closer to me.

I hid my face from fear and shame, thinking to be punished. “I'm sorry..” I said with a trembling voice. Father just smiled, and grabbed my hands and kissed my forehead. “You are forgiven.” He said softly, the guilt was replaced with joy and relief.

I smiled back, giving Father a sweet hug, for His arms so strong shielded me from all the evil.

Part 2: Patience

In the beautiful field, I ran after a butterfly. Its wings were wonderful, colored with sapphire blue and black dots. I desired to catch it and take a closer look, but it always kept flying away.

After running so much, God came up to me and smiled gently “Why are you running so much after this butterfly?” He asked. I glanced up at Him and frowned with a pout “I want to take a closer look..” I replied.

The Father knelt next to me and placed His hand on my head “Sometimes you don’t have to run but stay still. The butterfly will come alone and sit on your shoulder.”

I sighed, shaking my head “But that’s nonsense.. I don’t have patience, I want it now.” but God insisted and told me to stay still. He then, pointed at the same butterfly from earlier.

I watched in awe as it sat down on my shoulder, I managed to take a closer look. Father laughed softly “Patience is the key to everything, My child. The more you run after your dreams, the further away they seem to be.

Sit down for once, and let it all come to you alone.”

Part 3: Humiliation

On a shiny day, I sat down through a field, gathering varied and wonderful flowers. God was in the distance observing me, smiling. I picked up a white carnation and ran off to my Father, giving it to Him as a gift. I received a kiss and it made me happy.

I got back to my spot and gathered more, humming myself a song. A man approached me, holding a small bag and glared. I glanced up in confusion but offered him a flower as well. Growling, the stranger slapped my hand and began saying words that hurt me deeply.

I frowned and looked back at my Father, He already seemed firm. The stranger pulled out something from his bag and threw it all over me. Once again, I was dirty. Why?

As the man left, I teared up and sat there crestfallen. God did not come after me.

After a while, I managed to stand and ran off to my Father, crying. “Why? What did I do?” I asked, but God held my face and wiped the tears away. A gentle kiss on the head was enough to calm down my pain.

Then He started “Because you’re with Me, others will hate you deeply. You are Mine, have you forgotten? As I said once, no one will snatch you out ever from My hand.”

Part 4: Rejection

"How many times did this happen? I walked this dark path countless times until I had to meet many, many people along my way, that could teach me about you, my Father, so I could return back into your arms. From that day, I left all my selfish ways just for You, because I love You dearly, and for all eternity. You have told me to bring friends along the way, Jesus, my Lord, you want disciples, so this is what I do.

For I talked with all my friends who are yet unsaved, I taught them about Your Holy Word, about You in general, yet nothing is painful than seeing them reject You. Sometimes I wonder, why is it so hard for them? Why is it so hard to accept and believe? Your ways are so perfect.. yet none of them wants it. Can't they not see? No matter what they do, all of these people will fall back down over and over again.

We all go through trials, but I am victorious with You, my Father, by my side. The life took a different turn around, ah, how marvelous the life is now!

Oh, how I dislike hypocrites. They claim to have accepted you, my Lord, into their hearts, yet they do not bear the Holy Spirit within them. What could possibly go wrong? Oh yes, I know. Doubts, unbelief. This is what stops them. "How do I know that I am saved?" Because of Your holy promise. "Why should I believe in someone that I have not seen?"

Because blessed are those who have not seen, yet believed."

And so I spoke to God with a hurt expression and deep sorrow in my heart. He listened to me in silence, a small smile curled up on his lips. "You have done well, my child." is all he said "Rest now, tomorrow is yet another day."
