Ephesians 3: 14-19
for this reason i kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in Heaven and on earth derives its name. i pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. and i pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.


do we kneel before our Father, do we actually stop in our daily lives and bend ourselves low, revering His greatness and accepting our own meekness. for in Him we have life, but on our own we have nothing but the simple self centred path that leads to destruction.

when we pray, for what do we pray? do we acknowledge the beauty and the majesty of our Lord, do we look to the Lord to strengthen us and to help us, to teach and console us? do we pray for others? do we pray that the Lord will be the Lord for all? do we ask Him to help specific people, to nurture them, to heal them, to enable them to grow and at the same time to grow in love within them. surely our prayers must encompass all three, surely our prayers must be one of thanksgiving and praise, ones that ask and invite the Lord into our own very beings and life, and ones that beg the Lord to help others, however specific

when we pray do we pray for this and that area of our and others life, or do we openly invite our good Lord into all our lives, all of hearts, all of our minds and all that we do and say. God knows ourselves and others more than anyone of us can ever begin to know; He understands all that we are, He understands all that we can be and do, He knows all that we long and yearn for and He knows all that our lives offer. why then should we ask Him to limit His love? why then should we ask Him to only bless this part or that part? surely we are to open our all and to ask God to fill us with His love and His Spirit. to then move and work within in the ways that He knows best. surely we are to ask our Lord to work within all people, not only healing what we can see, not only helping in ways that we think we know about, but healing the wounds we can and will never witness, strengthening the areas we will never comprehend, uplifting the parts we don’t recognise; in short filling the whole person with His love, giving the graces and mercy He alone can bring to life in front of us.

if we ask our Lord He will reach into every corner of our lives and those lives we ask Him to. He will touch the area we do not see and think about and He will make them renewed in His glory. but never ever be afraid to plead, for it is good to plead and to ask. our Lord asks not for woolly prayers, He longs to hear definite and precise requests made in love and made from a contrite and open heart. God knows what we need and He knows what we seek, and it praises Him when we ask, and it glorifies Him when we seek. He longs for us, and He delights when we come, so come and be one

can we give what we have not? can we live if we haven’t been graced to do so? no! for we cannot give what we haven’t received, we cannot share what have not. let us therefore ask our Lord to renew our own experience with Him, so that we may ably go forth in His love, so that we may efficiently proclaim His glory, so that we may lovingly minister to all we meet, to all we see and to all we talk with.

it was once said ‘everyday I preach the gospel and sometimes I use words’ we do not need to always be looking for ways to actively evangelise people, we do not need to be looking for the right ways to say this and that, for in the ways that we live, in the ways that we act, in the very being that we are and will yet become we can and we do minister to all those we come into contact with. is your ministry, is your life a life of love. walking the path set out in front of ourselves, walking in love and trust, loving all we meet, being the person living the life ordained upon you to live is in itself a very powerful life; one that will through being the tools and instruments in our Lords hands be a life that will help our Lord open hearts, minds and lives to His love.

i was never preached to when i first started to question my own life. i was never instructed on how to do this and that, i was simply shown by several people who do not know what an impact they had on my life, and to those few i offer my deepest thanks, and i offer all my praise to Christ for allowing them to be and for allowing me to see them being.

witness of our Lord is an extremely powerful force, be part of it and witness with all your life.

Scrappy . You are an awesome witness to all of us here at talkjesus ! I try my best to be humble and I pray night and day while in worship . I have so much peace in my heart most of the time . But I also have to make choices here about issues and live's , and I know that I will stand in judgement by God for every one of them . I need to stay close to the word and prayer all the time . And even in that I am only a human who wishes only to do Gods will . Thanks brother . You have encouraged me with your thread . :love: :boy_hug: Mike

Very nice scrappy! Excellent thread brother. I have been praising GOD yet praying for GOD to take me up to the next level, realm in my relationship and faith walk with Him. I feel a need for motivation to hit new heights, new areas, new experiences with Christ that I've never had before.

GOD is working in my life more than I see - and for all I see, amen!
